They seem to be off and on. I remember there was some quote from one of her friends describing their relationship as a "mess" and off & on. First sight of Chase was in October 2017, and you're right, he was on tour with Lana for LATTM, and of course we've seen lots of him recently. -

At least during this live performance at 4:04, she clearly sings "la la la la la la loser, beautiful loser" & after listening back to the album version, it does seem to sound that way too x -

Yep, definitely him! Posted on October 5th: At the Red Sox vs Yankee play off game at Fenway Park tonight. We’ll be wishing a mother fcker would. (Fenway Park is in Boston and Lana was there the day before to watch him train... y'know, down at the training yard...) -
LANALYSIS: Relating Songs To Known/Assumed Relationships
Elle replied to Sitar's topic in Lana Thoughts
Okay, so How to Disappear & Cinnamon Girl are about boxer Joe Schilling. So, Lana stated in her livestream she wrote both of the songs song after "getting back to New York from Boston" after being "fucked up in Boston" Nick reminded me there was a rumour of Lana going to Boston to watch her boyfriend who was coaching, which lined up during the same time period as I noticed she was in Rhode Island on October 3rd & New York October 5th with Jack, same day she shares first snippet of HTD along with video captioned "pre-recording dance" The rumour seemed to originate from a girl who worked at a store Lana was shopping at while in Rhode Island. Rhode Island - Oct 3 (traveling there) Boston - Oct 4 (meltdown happened w this guy) New York - Oct 5 (wrote HTD) October 5th: "At the Red Sox vs Yankee play off game at Fenway Park tonight. We’ll be wishing a mother fcker would." (Fenway Park is in Boston, and Lana was there to watch him train the day before) The man in question seems to be this boxer named Joe Schilling, who a bunch of fans attacked on instagram by commenting rats under his instagram posts on October 21st after he dragged her music & the unfollowed each other, and Lana had to tell her fans to back off. That makes perfect sense given the lyrics: "Joe met me down at the training yard, with cuts on his face 'cause he fought too hard" (which would make sense bc he's a boxer) & then of course the lyrics in Cinnamon Girl indicating that something went wrong with them "if you hold me without hurting me, you'll be the first who ever did" whew that man really hurt her x -
Cracked the code of this song after @@Nick Del Rey reminded me of a puzzle piece I was missing. Wait, wasn't it that guy named Joe Schilling and everyone was spamming his instagram with snakes after he dragged her music?? "Joe met me down at the training yard, with cuts on his face 'cause he fought too hard..." That would make perfect sense as he's a boxer, along with the lyrics of Cinnamon Girl indicating something went wrong with them "if you hold me without hurting me, you'll be the first who ever did" & that rumour of her in Boston was also in early October, when she was spotted in Rhode Island Oct 3 -

I've been trying to peek around to put two and two together.. whatever it was, it happened early October. She was in Rhode Island October 3rd & in New York with Jack on October 5th, the same day she shared the first HTD snippet along with another video captioned "pre-recording dance." The only other significant thing that happened around that time was when she dragged Kanye West on Instagram on September 29th, so maybe there was some drama surrounding that incident that really upset her? I mean, she did namedrop Kanye in another song, so... idk, maybe one of life's unanswered mysteries x -
It's crazy to think she wrote this song & How to Disappear during the same time period (early October based on what she shared on her live tonight) Two compleeeeetely different songs. But goddamn whatever happened in Boston... we can thank it for this song x

Lana shared in her livestream that Cinnamon Girl & How to Disappear were written during the same time period while she was in an apparent sadness slump when she "got back to New York from Boston" after being "fucked up in Boston." I'm estimating she wrote How to Disappear & Cinnamon Girl at the beginning of October, as that's the only evidence I found of her being in New York - she attended Jack's show in New York October 5th, the same day she shared the first snippet of How to Disappear when it was still a stripped-back piano track along with a now-deleted video of her dancing to CamelPhat & Elderbook's 'Cola' captioned "pre-recording dance." Also, she was in Rhode Island on October 3rd, which could've been a stop during her Boston/New York travels. Then, Lana live-streamed Jack working on HTD on October 27th, with the first performance of the song being at the Apple event on October 30th. First Cinnamon Girl snippet was shared October 12th (my birthday!) x Update: @@Nick Del Rey just reminded me that there was that rumour going around that Lana was going to Boston to watch her boyfriend coach, which originated on October 3rd from a girl who worked at a store she met Lana in. So, the timeline must've been: Okay so the timeline was definitely Rhode Island - Oct 3 (traveling there) Boston - Oct 4 (meltdown happened w this guy) New York - Oct 5 (wrote HTD) & Cinnamon Girl followed that

Lana was in an apparent sadness slump when she "got back to New York from Boston" after being "fucked up in Boston" and wrote most of the lyrics for How to Disappear during that time. Cinnamon Girl was also written around that time. I'm estimating she wrote the song at the beginning of October, as that's the only evidence I found of her being in New York - she attended Jack's show in New York October 5th, the same day she shared the first snippet of How to Disappear when it was still a stripped-back piano track along with a now-deleted video of her dancing to CamelPhat & Elderbook's 'Cola' captioned "pre-recording dance." On her live tonight, Lana expressed an idea she had for a Love Song music video. "I feel like it's the kind of song you have to have a video for to realize that it's kind of special, because otherwise it's pretty stark. I do [have an idea.] I'd like to paint it. Like, have a painted video. Like a Monet that came to life." Also, Jack shared that there were a lot of different versions of the song before they finally got it right.

It was definitely Bird World (just watched the recording back) but I wonder what that means or if there was ever a song associated with it x -

Album was almost called "Bird World" (which I would've been all about, birds are my favourite animal) x -
She shared the original open lines of NFR on her live: I heard you left town Heard you're back around heard you're back at the bar again hanging out with your stupid friends playing your guitar again but I don't fucking care (chorus) There was also another part with different lyrics: You keep changing all the time You change your goddamn mind You know you like to shine But I don't have a clue

She's back on & is starting to sing NFR x

Yes, I love seeing the Hope love. Criminally underrated and misunderstood. A true masterpiece - lyrically, melodically, and sonically. One of her best x -

Lol it's funny she mentioned that the pony was from Rite Aid, because awhile back after she posted the selfie of her with the pink unicorn plushie, a fan posted seeing it at Rite Aid too. I guess Rite Aid is Lana's one stop shop for plushies x

Here's most of the live! The little bit where Lana shouted me out at while responding to my Weyes Blood suggestion at 0:14 I don't deserve her x

I hope someone recorded that live so I can save the part of her saying my username & answering my vaping question looool x
