One of the OG Lana stans from 2012 claimed Lana had given her the Ferrari jacket and shared pictures of her with it signed.. either that was a lie and she had Lana sign another jacket, or Lana owned more than one.. either way it’s so iconic to see it being worn out again, even if by Chuck!! It’s a piece of LDR history x

I mentioned this to another member the other day who was also asking about this, but creating threads for 2011-2014 performances/candids that we’re missing is actually something I’ve been working on for the past couple of months! I’ve been gathering photos, information, etc for these since last year & I’ll start creating threads for them this week and make appropriate sections for them! I’m going to be editing and moving old useless posts of mine (mainly decade-old survivor thread posts of mine lol I used to post in those all the time back in the day) to use as OPs for new threads as to not clog up the recently created topic section with them all. Check back later this week as I’ll begin to have this up and running since I already have a lot done just waiting to be posted from the past couple of months! x

To be fair, Lana is quite shy/introverted and we didn’t really see her moving around much to interact with others during the ceremony. She probably just wanted to stay seated and keep to herself. Also, Joni’s performance was right after Lana lost SOTY and by the end of the night after Lana lost AOTY too, she probably just wanted to get out of there since the whole experience was probably overwhelming for her, even if she did enjoy it. + meeting your idol/inspiration can also be intimidating - when I ran into Lana at the mall, there was almost a moment where I wasn’t going to approach her because I was so nervous and didn’t want to bother her. Of course in the end I did end up speaking to her, and perhaps Lana did speak to Joni too but they just weren’t photographed. I hope they did interact though since Joni is such a big inspiration to Lana! x

Skfnsk a tiktok edit just popped up on my FYP of clips of Lana with Taylor during her win set to the “always an angel, never a god” part of boygenius’ Not Strong Enough and it destroyed me a little skkk because it’s so true! The whole night, she was the angel. Looking beautiful, giving hugs to Taylor for her wins, standing amongst a seated crowd to clap for Billie during her win, even joining Taylor up on stage as she lost against her while smiling solemnly in the shadows. But she wasn’t the god. She didn’t get that dedicated, shining moment of praise from the industry that she deserved. Yet, she still showed support for everyone else and still kept a smile on her face. & it’s been that way her whole career. She paved the way for so many artists who have now reached major success, always showing her love and support for them, while she rarely ever gets the credit for it herself. Always an angel, never a god.. (also the fact the edit was set to that boygenius song made it hurt even more since they won one of her noms skkk) I am also one of the people in the bunch who are still running on 3 hours of sleep, so it’s time for me to turn in before I get more delusional loool. Tomorrow’s a new day xx

I think she's a legacy artist, a legend, and in her prime right now." - Taylor Swift Honestly, even though I'm super gutted that Lana didn't end up taking home any awards, I'm very happy to see that Taylor very publicly gave Lana the flowers she deserved. It's undeniable the impact Lana's had on the music industry, and it was amazing that Taylor recognised that. That was a moment that could've been just for Taylor, especially since it was a milestone being the only artist to ever win AOTY 4 times, but she chose to share it with Lana and even dragged her up on stage to share the spotlight with her (even though it looked like Lana really didn't want to go up slkfjsk)
