Well everyone… the time has come. Welcome to the LDR10 Pre-Pre-Release Thread - Annual Discussion & Meltdown! Lana Del Rey has revealed to a fan while at a Waffle House in Florence, Alabama that she is "working on a new recording." Additionally, earlier this year in a journal entry dated March 28th posted on Instagram, Jack Antonoff wrote that "Lana refuses to leave [the studio]" confirming that a new album is underway! Please let me know what else I should add to a "what we know already" and "speculations" section! x

Should I? I usually open a Pre-Pre-Release Thread when there’s indication a new album is underway, and this is sort of an indication if what this fan claimed is true… What do you all think? Is it time? x

Lmao my 3 friends who were former WaHo employees went crazy over this, and even inspired one of them to consider start working there again skfndk. Funnily enough, my friend brought up thinking about working there again about a month ago while she finishes her last year of law school, and I think this just sealed the deal for her. Serving waffles AND justice. Thank you Lana for always being an inspiration to us all

Earlier tonight, Lana Del Rey stopped to meet fans while down in Florence, Alabama.

The Pie Factory is a pizza restaurant in Florence, but that’s not where she was last night. She was at a nearby restaurant though. Also, it seems Lana deleted the post because she was getting spammed with comments saying “don’t listen to Lana!” and then those people would reply to those comments saying “… without me 🤭” which I’m sure Lana didn’t see the second part. How incredibly stupid. I just know it’s the young tiktok stans that were apart of that. I hope they don’t continue to do stupid stuff like that, and that this doesn’t lead to Lana deactivating her account again. We’re so lucky to have her back, let’s be grateful and not stupid x

Given that the engagement rumours turned out to be false, I wouldn’t trust it. However, she could have booked a wedding-style venue for something non-marriage related such as a location for a music video… and we do know she has something exciting to announce! x

Still, comments being like “omg is she pregnant” happen way too often in pop culture whenever celebrity women gain weight, dress a certain way, etc and it’s always been so odd to see at least from my perspective. I swear Lana pregnancy speculations have happened every few months since like 2014 and it’s just weird to me. Let the pop girlies just birth out their albums xx

Someone who was there messaged me a little bit about their experience and said one of the waiters at the restaurant she was at told a friend while she was there and word travelled fast, so there were a bit of local fans waiting outside for her. The fan said she was super sweet to everyone, smiling and giggling as she spent around an hour talking to everyone. She’s so kind for doing that as she could’ve totally just denied to take any pictures/sign things and say she didn’t have time and had to leave, but I think this is a real testament to how much she cares for her fans. Not a lot of other celebrities would have done this. The fan there said that all the fans were really calm and respectful of her too, no one really freaking out, screaming, or hounding around her, which I’m sure made her more comfortable with the experience too. I imagine a screaming gaggle of teenage girls would’ve been a bit frightening lol. Also before she came out, a police man arrived to make sure nothing got out of hand which was awesome and he even exchanged numbers with her friend Cody in case they needed to be in touch during the rest of time they were there. She told the fans she was in the area to see some friends (then I went to seeeee some friends of mine… down in Florence, Alabama!) I’m sure Lana Del Rey randomly popping up in Florence will be the talk of the town for years to come lmao x Someone did ask why she reopened Honeymoon and she just giggled and said, “no reason!” Of course we know she has something bigger up her sleeve… x

Omgggg the fan who met Lana at the nail salon said that Lana asked him if he was from the south and where he thought she would get crowds if she performed there. He said Nashville & ATLANTAAAAA bless this boy I also suggested Atlanta when she asked where else she should perform for an upcoming leg after her Kansas show on the NFR Tour and she looked at me, smiled, and said “ATL? Alright!” Lana plssssss come here we miss u xx
