    tbh in context you can only flop in comparison to your own work so she's not a flop at all this era but everyone whose not dua is a flop i guess

    baby girl needs promo, songs going to free fall out of the charts this week. it's not even in top 50 daily in uk spotify anymore. music video hype isn't enough though that looks pretty budget... 

     

    she's been liking some of the remix replies including a lorde one so beg for you ( solar power edition ) is the only logical next step :flop:

     

     

    it's going to be rita ora or someone like that or maybe a rapper

    i think people are mad that it's not an obscure sample or anything but honestly with the you for me leak she's clearly been writing with simple dance track formulas for awhile now, she just kept this one. But yeah, as someone who listens to a lot of noise and experimental artists, it makes me chuckle when pop2 and hifn are labeled as abrasive in someway. The only thing abrasive about pop2 is how awful femmebot is

    I love basic pop music/radio hits, i do not care if this era is full of them ( and honestly good for her if it is, she deserves her coin ) I just hate how insufferable she is trying to court the gate keeping gays and mainstream at the same time. 

     

    she should encourage streaming/buying beg for you because it's a bop and not " it'll make vroom vroom/experimental music have better exposure " excuse. like hasn't she learned through i love it sidelining true romance ??

    like i know this might sound harsh but it's like she's scared of failing so she needs to pad it with a bunch of shit so she can say it was a joke the whole time or something. 

     

    dua was queen of the charts last year, pop girlies are in; if you want to be one, then be one.

    i get she's going to satire like " main stream loves interpolations etc etc " but let the tea speak for it self... 

     

    i want to ironically sell out so ironic money goes into my bank account and i get an ironic amazing new record deal while i'm an ironic mega popstar.
