Every morning I wake up thinking "maybe I'd get less stressed if I was tested less", Sylvia Plath is in my head all the time and it's so hard not to play it, and I had never felt something like that before with just a snippet.

I don't think she can scrap the album and start again. She started working on it at the end of 2017 like December and then with Jack in January, she just can't scrap an entire year of work. It's wasted money, time, and would be so disrespectful for Jack.

Why do I feel like NFR could have some of her saddest songs ever? It doesn't seem to be a very happy album to me. Even her songs with happier lyrics are sad or melancholic as fuck (HTD, VB)

I don't trust Lana anymore when she says she sings with her higher range. When she was interviewed for WTWWAWWKD, the guy (don't remember who) said she was doing a very high soprano part, and Lana herself said she would never be able to sing the song live because it was too high. It ended up not being that high, wasn't even a soprano part, and she even sang it on tour with no major difficulties, without lowering the key...

Jack makes people feel confident. I don't think Lorde would've sung Writer In The Dark the way she does without working with Jack. She never let her vocals shine this way. But I think Jack really pushes artists to their limits, showing them they're able to do more than they thought. He's the type of guy saying "you're afraid to hit a note? Try it anyway, and you'll see you can do it".

I would love a collab between Lykke Li and Lana. Lykke is super underrated, and she makes sad bops like nobody else. Also they both have a hard past with men, so I don't think the lyrics would be hard to write.

She sang it for fans on her tour, but if I remember correctly, she doesn't like the song anymore nor the lyrics. And it's her worst song anyway, so...

Who knows, it was her fav song of LFL but she scrapped it because she "wasn't there yet". Meaning the song is way more than just a song, it represents a lot to her. I wouldn't be surprised if she releases it or even leaks it herself.

I want Lana to belt in NFR. She can do it. And her belts are so healthy now compared to a few years ago. I'm sure she can make us have a heart attack if she belts like she did in Terrence Loves You or a few performances of PWYC at the end of the LATTM Tour.
