  1. Anyway did y'all listen to our lord and savior How To Disappear today? If not, go listen that masterpiece and make your day a little bit better
  2. I remember when I was like 12 one of my best friends was a hardcore fan of Nirvana and she had a Kurt Cobain biography and she would always tell me Courtney killed him and for some odd reason I never believed that. I don't know anything about Courtney Love, never read a single thing about her, but I just don't believe it. Am I naive?
  3. There's literally no reason for her to push it back.
  4. release your curse and close this thread until she releases something please
  5. That's because the song wasn't called Sylvia anymore lmao Lana was in "i dont know her" mode
  6. The Gucci campaingn starts on tuesday, and she'll start to release infos about the album bit by bit. Then, in the last week of january she'll announce the title track for February 8 (his birthday) and on that day she'll release the cover, tracklist and preorder.
  7. If this was a real thing I would take Britney Spears to court because I have every single album and dvd that bitch released and still she managed to turn into a dissapointing mess but guess what? I moved on because it was my choice to get invested in her and to buy her stuff, she didn't point a gun to my head and said "hey fag buy blackout" so yeah your mentality is wrong af
  8. Lana thinking about the concept for the Venice Bitch music video and laughing when she realized what she was gonna do to us
  9. She hates everyone who hates In My Feelings and LFL in general so I'm safe ily Lana!
  10. I try not to listen to HTD that much because I'm saving myself for the studio version but I just listened to it again and I can say with conviction that this is one of Lana's best work, both lirically and sonically. I will never get over the "i love that man like nobody can he moves mountains and turns them to ground again" line its so powerful and beautiful and sincere like this song is going to serve magnum opus teas, it's a piece of art.
  11. I love that me and Lana are going through the same stuff at the same time. Me too is more willing to find someone right now after years and years of making myself emotionally unavailable and I'm finally start to feel things again and feel a little more alive too. I think thats the main reason why I like these new tracks so much, they speak to me on a personal level
  12. But can we talk about how Lana compares herself to the sea in MAC and then says whoever the song is about is lost in her but she will command the boat in her direction again, meaning she'll let them get to know her and how to get through her, like those are powerful lyrics she did THAT
  13. I'd be fine with that. She released 5 projects in the spam of 5 years so it would be fair for her to take a long break, but only if she came back fully realized visually and served us good music videos imagine waiting for her for 4 years only for her to release a MAC kind of video I would unstan.
  14. Let's be real though: touring must be mentally exhausting for her
  15. That's why I admire Madonna tbh, ever since 1983 the bitch hasn't taken a long break, not even when she got pregnant. Her longest hiatus was between Bedtime Stories and Ray of Light (4 years) and even then she was busy working on Evita and doing promos and stuff. She's been working non stop for almost 40 years now, that's some impressive shit and she has my respect.
  16. What about Kate Bush? I wasn't even born when she started her hiatus and then I was literally 11 years old when she made her comeback
  17. The difference between Lana and Lorde is that Lana aquired a loyal fanbase through the years: she never had a hit and the majority of her fans didn't get to know her because of her being overplayed on the radio or winning tons of awards and stuff. Lorde, on the other hand, had a huge breakthrough with Royals and not everyone who enjoyed her song was necessarily her fan, and that showed in Melodrama because most of the GP lost interest on her and the album didn't do great when it comes to commercial success. Lana's LFL did similar numbers to Melodrama with close to zero promotion and that being her fifth album compared to Lorde's second. So I'm sure that if Lana takes a hiatus her fans won't move on, and if they do they'll still come back when she releases something.
  18. reminder that she will probably take a 5 years hiatus after NFR
  19. Friendly reminder that Norman Perceval Rockwell February 3, 1894 New York City, New York, US
