  1. Did she 100% say that Venice Bitch (or MAC idk) was the lead single? Sorry I have short range memory I really don't remember anything other than her saying they were stand alone singles.
  2. I think she will only make the cover + tracklist + preorder available when she releases the lead single though.
  3. Jack is no Daddy Nowels, she won't be able to call him at 2 am asking him to produce one more song hours before she's supposed to presemt the album to interscope
  4. Years from now when cellphones fucking fly and hover in front of you to take a picture or whataver people are going to see this cover and think "wow this is some real vintage shit right there" like we do when we see pictures from 40 years ago of our parents sitting by the porch doing nothing
  5. I also think the selfie format was a creative choice but what she's trying to convey with that I have no idea
  6. This song sounds nothing like the HTD snippets nor the video she posted working on the song with Jack. It sounds like the live performance because Jack can only play one instrument at a time and he decided to go for the piano, that's it
  7. "You realize why Lana is UNDER FIRE right now on social media?" I've seen literally 10 people or less talking shit about her on twitter, it's not like she's on the trending topics being dragged by everyone lmao
  8. After her managers didn't let het use the one she already shot I'm hoping they'll finally step in and make her shoot a decent cover.
  9. The single cover is not my favorite but a high budget stylized pic wouldn't fit the vibe of the song or what she's trying to convey either so idk
  10. Good evening Oklahoma, welcome to the Norman Fucking Rockwell tour! Feet don't fail me now...
  11. After listening to the song a couple times I came to the conclusion that this is, in fact, a happy song. In the past Lana would always sing about sadness in a conformist way, like she was used to the feeling and she had accepted the fact her sadness would never go away ie songs like Dark Paradise, Sad Girl, The Blackest Day etc. But this track, while sonically sad, has very optimistic lyrics. It's like Lana acknowledges the fact she has gone through some rough paths in life (and maybe still is) but she won't accept this sadness and won't be at peace with it. I feel a very strong feeling of her wanting to fight her sadness and overcome it with this song, or at least trying to. She won't just sit around and be sad, she's gonna grab sadness by the hair and throw it out. I love it.
  12. Watch out Halsey, Lana is coming for that #1 spot! Can't wait to see HIADTFAWLMTHBIHI playing at local grocery stores with soccer moms humming to Lana singing about being a depressed sociopath while they pick up the lettuce
  13. The blatant racism! Using something black just to emphasize the beauty of white snow! I thought shit like this was ban worthy?
  14. lana being vintage 10 years in advance ugh we love a true vintage queen
  15. Mariner's Apartment Complex HOW TO DISAPPEAR hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have - but i have it NoRmAn FuCkInG rOcKwElL cin ~ na ~ mon † In My Car † HAPPINESS is A butterfly ∆∆∆∆bartender∆∆∆∆ Venice Bitch
  16. I think it would be lovely if this song came before HTD in the tracklist because HTD also starts with a piano but the song will slowly transform into something else as we saw in the video of Lana and Jack working on the track so imagine how heavenly this transition would be
  17. But for real though: imagine how utterly and terribly awful the cover she shot for NFR must be if her managers didn't allow her to put that out but allowed her to use this picture as BOTTOMKEYSMASH cover?
  18. Well I survived the WORK cover so this is nothing in comparisson tbh
  19. People hated Brooklyn Baby? oh wow that explains a lot...
  20. ATRL member FCKNAmbrosia couldn't have put it better so I'm sharing honestly it's the same metaphor as in Florence and the Machine's song "Shake it Out": And it's hard to dance with a devil on your back So shake him off. vs Shaking my ass is the only thing that's Got this black narcissist off my back. Also "black" generally is a synonim for depression in her music: Black Beauty, Get Free. And having depression is like facing a narcissist - the more you feed its ego, the more powerful it becomes.
