  1. LA Times: https://www.latimes.com/entertainment-arts/music/story/2019-08-29/lana-del-rey-norman-rockwell-album-review The Atlantic: https://www.theatlantic.com/entertainment/archive/2019/08/lana-del-rey-norman-fucking-rockwell-review-stunning/597154/ Both very positive, but I think neither counts for MC.
  2. Vulture review, it's pretty positive but I think only their movie reviews count for metacritic: https://www.vulture.com/2019/08/album-review-lana-del-rey-norman-fucking-rockwell.html With Norman Fucking Rockwell!, an hour of contemplative folk-rock tunes and lovelorn piano ballads coated in the flavors and the lore of the ’60s, Del Rey completes the tapestry she’s been sketching out since breaking through in 2011 with the ethereal, dour “Video Games.” It’s an achievement worthy of the constellation of classic rock gems it counts among its influences.
  3. Spin, Paste, NYT and Drowned in Sound usually give her good scores, Sputnik will probably give her a good one too if we take that other review in consideration. Pitchfork, Consequence of Sound, tiny mixtapes and AV Club are tough ones but I'm confident about pitchfork's review because the woman who's writing it said a lot of positive things about NFR on her twitter. Anyway let's wait, I still think the album could end up with a +85 score.
  4. And Norman continues the story told in LFL, so things we're starting to get pretty severe then and now they're at end of the world levels
  5. It'll probably drop to 85 ~ 86 when they add the 60 from The Telegraph.
  6. Y'all forget that Norman Fucking Rockwell is a summer album set in an apocalyptic world. By having a xmas song in the middle of the album Lana is telling us that climate change became so severe that winter turned into summer, and now when they celebrate xmas there's no more snow or winter because it's fucking hot and California is in flames. It's all part of the storytelling keep up with it hoes
  7. lmaaaaaaaao its what that old bitch deserves tbh
  8. After listening to this album a lot of times I can safely say that Fuck It I Love You is my favorite hands down
  9. Rolling Stone finally coming through with a decent score. And are you sure Now Toronto counts?
  10. Why do people care about metacritic so much to the point of creating an account just to give an album a bad score. Lorde stans did the same thing with LFL, these children have nothing better to do
  11. Tool blocking Lana in most markets and getting better reviews even though they just released a subpar album... the gays really lost this time...
  12. I'm now used to the jingle bells in HtD but I'd love to listen to a version of the song without them. Maybe when the steams leak, IF they leak someday
  13. white heat forever will be a synthpop album and y'all will have to DEAL
  14. I didn't expect this album to open lower than LFL on metacritic
  15. Honestly I wasn't going to say anything about the end of the pre-release thread but I just need to let this out: this thread was the reason why I created an account on this website and I'm glad I did because oof It's been a ride and I'm so happy I found this amazing group of fans to get this through with. It's been an amazing journey and I hope we all get to experience all the pre-release threads that's yet to come. Thank you guys!
  16. I think LDR7 will come pretty quickly tbh, she mentioned in one of these recent interviews that she's already writting again so... Sadly I have a busy day tomorrow, I wish I could take my bike and ride by the beach while listening to the album. I might do that next week
  17. Just a quick reminder for those of you who are unaware: the rules have been updated and whoever talks shit about How To Disappear will get five warning points straight away
