I loved it! It's very simple but entertaining, I bet Lana had a fun time recording and for me that's all that matters . Also I can't believe some people are "dissappointed" because "it won't help the song commercially". Excuse me? Since when does Lana and this fanbase care about the charts? Chill. theycallmecash: I feel like it's a strong throwback to Born To Die-esque type of Lana. It's a solid midtempo, NOT an uptempo. The trap element is incredibly subdued. Her airy vocals are front and center and the song basically is a lament AND a kiss-off to an ex-lover, crafted incredibly well. Basically Lana wants to forget this lover and do her own thing: by getting high by the beach. It reminds me personally of Blue Jeans or West Coast. The last line of the song is spoken word: "Everyone can start again; not through love but through revenge..." and it tails off with a distortion on her breathing.
