  1. Omg, I can't anymore. This girl drives me crazy! How can someone be so perfect
  2. This is weird and I don't even know where to start. Well, first of all, I can relate to Lana's music so easily because of certain reasons. Songs like OTTR are like a description of my own life. I'm in love with an about 20 years older man, so he's kind of my sugar daddy. He drives a Bugatti, does cocaine, drinks expensive alcohol. I know that's nothing to cherish but it's funny that she writes songs which fit like 99% to my life.
  3. I was disappointed of the Gods and Monsters part. It's definitely one of my favorites. I expected something really dark, shocking and even heartbreaking because that's what the song embodies for me personally. Being a stripper, and doing drugs wasn't that shocking, Lanz, sorry. Tropico made me love Body Electric and I got to see a total different view on that song. My favorite scene is when she quotes Whitman: "O I say these are not the parts and poems of the body only, but of the soul, O I say now these are the soul!" The way she says it is so haunting and beautiful.
  4. This part of "Every man gets his wish"! It's funny and heartbreaking at the same time. I learned how to make love from the movies He found me waitressing at Ruby Tuesday's He said, "I wanna buy you a classic white milkshake." I said, "I'll serve you up a special side of heartbreak." Special side of heartbreak. I was working down in the corner café You would drive by in the Chevrolet Whistle at me as my hips go sway "Lana Del Rey, how you get that way?" How you get that way? I said, he loves my heart-shaped sunglasses He loves the heart shape my ass is Cristal, Cristal champagne glasses
  5. I was at her concert in Frankfurt (Germany), and she played that song. Her voice was like it was about to break. Listening to her singing that song was stunning. I felt kind of lost in another world while she was singing. There is something I can't describe which makes me literally going insane. It is a masterpiece, definitely. And sorry for misplacing this thread. 'Newbie' haha
  6. Hey guys, I'm new here, therefore I don't know if there had been such a topic. Anyways, in my opinion, Gods and Monsters seems to be so underrated. Barely anyone of my friends like that song as much as I do. To me, it's a masterpiece. This dark and mystic atmosphere, her fragile voice. I don't get why there is not one who feels the way I do What do you think about that song?
