1.) you are reaching hella far. She did not think that was disrespectful just because she didn’t specifically dismiss it as “not disrespectful” doesn’t mean anything. There is no such thing as a “universal consensus” on something that is 100% subjective. 2.) trying to give ppl perspective and get ppl to hold themselves accountable for what they say about interactions they did not take part in is not the same. 3.) trying to discredit me by saying “it just seems like a really round about way of saying you see no problem in any of these fans behavior” aint gonna work. I never said nor implied that I thought it was appropriate, and if I did that wouldnt discredit me either as Charli herself saw nothing wrong with it. But go off and try and distract and grasp at straws because you can’t meaningfully refute what I said.

Just because a lot of ppl found it disrespectful doesn’t mean that Charli (the only person who matters as it is her not you or anyone else in the situation) found it disrespectful. Just because YOU find something insulting doesn’t mean Charli does. Additionally Charli specifically said to not treat her like a helpless damsel, her meet and greets are supposed to be a safe space so let them be a safe space. She’s a grown woman and discounting/downplaying her ability to defend herself, just because she’s a woman and her fans are gay dudes, is literally sexism. i can't believe I didn't notice that. Weird (i think) it only happened after importing into iTunes to add metadata. Editing has about made me sick of the song. I can't tell what makes it sound improved/worse anymore. & now every time I listen all I can hear is all the weird artifacts I can't get rid of. LMK if its better now. Here is a CTMP 320 edit I just did. It has been normalized and I compressed the dynamic range a little bit so the volume is way more consistent and the mix sounds even. IMO it makes it sound a lot less like stems with different volume levels put together. It’s not perfect but I figure anyone who is bothered/hasn’t gotten used to the loudness during the choruses will prolly appreciate. https://dbree.org/v/865061

has anyone who has gone to this tour been kind of disappointed? Like not that she was bad but just the concert could have been better? I was @ the chicago show last night and like I was not feeling it v much (possibly cuz I was extremely overtired and proceeded to speedball right before the show) but also in part cuz of the setlist I feel. Too many ballads(IDWK, Warm, Feb 2017, Thoughts, WM, Official, Track 10) and too many “go hard” songs-(NLC, Click, VV, Shake it, I got it, 2099). I wanna hear more singalong type bops, where she sings, like Unlock it and Gone and cross you out and 1999-(ie no angel out of my head femmebot porsche backseat dreamer blame it on u 3AM taxi babygirl ATAP GNO) Or maybe y’all are out here loving it, idk

I don’t think she was bad but I def think she should have played to the camera more and unapologetically danced like the pitchfork performance. But real talk if I was her I would have had to do the same thing, sometimes playing it safe and letting someone else shine pays off, at least more than risking messing up the performance cuz nerves got the better of you.

For some reason the new HQ CTMP sounds like a mix of the earlier HQ demo we heard snips of and the MQ version we already had. The volume has some inconsistencies that make it sound pieced together to me. Maybe I’m crazy and way too used to the MQ version but I’d like @@BloomForYou to confirm that’s not some kinda edit, or an earlier/different version or something, the tempo almost sounds slightly different on first listen but if you play them back to back it does line up so that maybe throws me off a little too.

Agreed I have BIOYL 1999 & No Angel all in a row on my charli playlist because they are all V sonically cohesive. I told myself I would only add Miss U to the album tho, so I have to make do. The production for feb 2017 is nice, with the exception of that tapping snare drum or whatever it is in the first verse. The high end of that should have been toned way down! it really bothers my ears, they are literally ringing rn and I didn’t even listen at a high volume. The percussion in CRJ’s this kiss also does this to me, am I crazy or does anybody relate?

Def best to least for me Irrelevant musicians? I enjoy all the songs so dont put like too much emphasis on bottom half it’s just I got the most love, enjoyment & replayability for the ones up top I think u guys just value different things in music, for me it’s mostly about a good/catchy melody, timbre(vocal and production), and lyrics. Songs like Delicious & Lucky aren’t really songs that are very catchy or mood uplifting they aren’t traditional pop, the vocal delivery in those songs are kind of grating & take getting used to, it took me a lot of listens to start finding things I like about them, vs a song like OOMH which all 3 of the vocal performances have beautiful & emotional timbre, the melody is insane/the song is almost instantly stuck in your head and the lyrics resonate with me quite a bit, like a ton actually.

Ok, 1.) How do any of y’all call urselves Charli stans and skip ANY song on Pop2??? 2.) How do you call urself a stan and not see how much Charli elevated Femmebot in comparison to the demo? Like she really owned the fuck out of her verse and chorus, & made it her own. Ugh her mind, adding Dorian & Mykki also helped take the song to the next level. She really brought the whole femmebot fantasy to life, quit sleeping on her curating skillz and give a bitch some credit like dayum.. y’all really try to make her sound like a talentless hag. 3.)
