Lana's shooting a cover soon, so that means a June cover release with a August issue, and she said she's making her book for the next couple of months, so that means the album will likely be out by September, if she's following the magazine/releasing the book first. September to September. Jesus

Honestly I guess poetry is just like music in that it's all perspective but I mean, there is usually a general consensus when something is bad or good, except for when it comes to all of us I liked her last poem tho

Lana's new poem! Orange Dreams: For the nightmare is real The tender seal of the orange peel has been ripped away; this orange is your life. Though the flesh may seem clean, And the rot may not been seen, The core has blackened deep beyond the skin and maggots dance and sing within. And the tree no longer bares it's fruits And you walk along a failed pursuit To seek some orange sweetness in your life. Now all you may feel, Between the peal, Between the skin, The rot within, Is a feeling known to some as pain and strife.

It's a real thing surprisingly you can make dandelion tea and salads I just imagine Lana like: In her backyard picking dandelions for her and her kids to eat, not realizing they were just sprayed with poison yesterday by the gardener

I imagine Lana as a mom would love her kids but also be so stuck in her head and bubble world that she'd forget they exist and go out for 5 hours for coffee with the girls and a boat ride. A neglectful loving Mom She'll probably name em Topanga Opium Oasis Grant & Vanilla Bean Ventura Grant and she'll dress them up in 100% non binary bamboo clothing and feed them dandelion salads she picked in her backyard and fresh lavender milk she milked in the morning. I think she'll be a good momma though

As long as she's ready to answer interview questions properly about the meaning behind some of the poems. It'll be like "is your last poem speaking on pregnancy? What is the meaning behind it" and I swear to god if she says "sonically the words just fit and sounded pretty to me" then she can kiss her poetry career goodbye

Do you think Lana is gonna release this as a songwriter who's dabbling into poetry and having fun with it in a non serious way or do you think she actually wants to be taken seriously as a poet? If it's the latter I'm scared for her, I don't want her dreams to be crushed before her eyes

I hope she has a proof writer helping her fix all the grammar and spelling mistakes before it gets published though the music community will love it but the reader community will tear her to shreds, with good reason

Yeah... Miss Lana has a couple kinks to work out... But I'm glad she's writing again. Give it a year or two of her writing constantly and the groove will find itself! Don't get me wrong this last poem was cute, but I want her to move to Europe and start visiting museums and soak up actual culture, not LA culture. France or Rome would be cute!

Still can't believe I predicted March 5th we'd get this much instagram activity. Sometimes I scare myself!
