  1. I'm not alone But seriously...how perfect for the jazzy dream pop sound and crime-drama themes she is apparently going for? Just listen to his work with Julee Cruise alone.
  2. I love it. It's very David Lynch-esque @@SitarHero @@GangstaBoy
  3. I doubt it will happen, but it'd be really cool if Lana composed lyrics for the "Sleepwalk" track and used it as an instrumental sample on a Honeymoon song.
  4. 1: When did you first discover Lana Del Rey -When Video Games was starting to get popular on YouTube 2: What was the first song that made you fall in love with her music -Video Games. I was so captivated by the Old Hollywood feel, her voice, and the mvid imagery. 3: Favorite Lana hairstyle - 4: Favorite live performance 5: Favorite lyric -"Mommy's Mercedes or Billy's pick-up truck? Comes out late and night and, baby, picks me up. Tell him just drive on and d-don't ever stop. Don't take me home again...take me to a new land." 6: Would you make out with Lana if you had the chance to? -She would probably turn me straight. 7: Favorite facial feature -Eyes 8: What's one thing you don't like about Lana? -I wish she would acknowledge her first album more. 9: Have you ever met Lana? -No, but she smiled at me when I waved at her last year. 10: Who's you favorite artist after Lana? -Nina Simone, Mazzy Star, or The Mamas and the Papas 11: Would you say you're obsessed or just a really big fan? -Obsessed, obviously. 12: What if Lana was secretly an evil zombie would you still love her? -Probably not. Her sweet disposition is one of the reasons I love her.
  5. Large music festival, her only major festival this year, first time playing in her home state in years, the tour has a very "NYC in the 50s" feel.
  6. If my Governor's Ball prediction ends up being right
  7. Of course she shouldn't completely change her artistic aesthetic, but she should continue to evolve with this album as she had been doing so well. Her sound and imagery matured immensely from Lana Del Ray to Born to Die to Ultraviolence, and I hope that the trend will continue with her exploring new themes and a different sound with Honeymoon. Simply a watered down version of Born to Die would be horrible for her career longevity at this point as she will either be remembered as the alternative pop girl who had a couple of nice albums or she can continue to pave a legacy for herself with a very strong, original discography.
  8. I'm American, but I really hope she stops isolating her European fans. She used to have such a huge amount of support there after BTD smashed.
  9. The guy who used to run the LDRO Twitter account is spilling tea on ATRL: "I thought you'd know by now that Lana herself does not believe in this and that Interscope go by what she says. They didn't want to release Ultraviolence, but she did anyways, She will not have a radio deal. HOWEVER they are looking for a radio station in the US to premiere the single this time round as they no longer have Fearne Cotton in the UK. But then again - before this it was going to be a VEVO premiere. They are really sketchy with their promotional schedule. Basically - expect an Ultraviolence promo mess. Lana herself is not about promoting. She tours. She likes to tour. She doesn't like award shows, interviews and TV performances - so when Interscope line these up for here, she later cancels" He says it will follow suit with her older music (rather than being pop music) and to expect a different sound of jazz, which we knew already.
  10. Are either of those bubblegum pop? Lol I think they're both more like alt pop or trip hop.
  11. Funny you say that because I keep thinking it will be reminiscent of the guitars from her version of Bang Bang mixed with Ronson-esque beats. I don't want her to just release BTD 2.0 and do what she's already done. Lana is great because she always tries new things with each album.
  12. I really hope Lana is able to showcase her huge vocal range on Honeymoon. The GP still see her as a mediocre vocalist because of SNL, but we all know how good she can be. One of the things that worry me about Emile producing again is that he didn't do her voice justice on many of the BTD songs. At least he has acknowledged that since then, though.
  13. But in the video, you can hear the girls say "swan" a couple of times and then Lana goes "I actually have a song in my record called Sw..." I think the girl was just being coy when she denied it.
  14. Bookmark me. Premiere at the Governor's Ball this Sunday (June 7th), audio the next day, the video two weeks later.
  15. Wait at my Governor's Ball premiere prediction maybe being right :rip: If so, that means I would see her sing it live next week
  16. The other model said the same thing It's finally happening, gurls.
  17. Lmao. In my defense, Lana explained the lyrics in the same way in an interview last year!
  18. Poor Barrie is probably sticking a pin in his Francesco voodoo doll as he Google Translates this.
  19. From what we know: Honeymoon by Lana Del Rey Release date: September 2015 Producers: Mark Ronson, Emile Haynie, Dan Heath Song titles: Honeymoon Music to Watch Boys To Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood (cover) Swan/Swan Song/Swan something Life is Beautiful (is it the Old Money/Bel Air of HM?)
  20. Yeah, we all thought we would be getting loads of UV videos since we got West Coast and Shades of Cool within a month of each other. So much for that.
