I’ve been trying to do that - but I’m also afraid that reading reactions to the new songs will taint my expectations, so maybe I’ll just listen once.

I usually can’t stand Choke Grant, but she came through with this concept.

There is literally nothing to hate about this cover. It’s instantly iconic, and I could see it as a poster decades from now like many of the abstract or campy album covers from the 60s and 70s. And it fits so well thematically for me. As I said earlier, the land is burning in the background, she’s fleeing, and inviting us to come along with her. Think about the MAC lyrics. I’m fascinated by how the title track lyrics and the concept of the male ego will play in. I love the painted sky and the pop art approach as well. I would like it even more if the typed parts were stickers.

I adore this. I love that all of these fanmade covers are probably better than whatever Choke Grant will force on us.

Imagine this being the first "full-package" album since Ultraviolence. As in a cohesive, high-quality album and stunning booklet/cover art visuals. I avoided buying the Honeymoon vinyl solely because of the cover art. The box set pictures were pretty, though.

I am so over these fake track lists. Can the good sis just upload a preorder already instead of waiting until a week before the release date

I just hope its cohesive and well-edited unlike the bloated hodgepodge that was LFL.

I’m happy that this might mean that the surf rock/guitar-driven songs are still on the record. I’m still dreaming of VB being the middle track and the song’s break into electric guitar being the transitional moment of the album.

Oh, yeah. What will be the flower of this era? AKA was hibiscus, BTD - roses, UV - hydrangeas, HM - whatever the booklet and HM video flowers were, LFL - daisies NFR can be funeral flowers.

I’m so over this shit. And no one needs to hold their breath for tomorrow - we haven’t gotten a pre-order that far in advance since Ultraviolence.
