Lana cares more about making high-quality music than selling as well as BTD, and I'm completely fine with that. BTD was more accessible to the public and it was a bit of an anomaly. That said, homegirl needs to finish what she starts. She apparently forgot about the IG account.

Idk, I'm sort of thinking the opposite. A lot of critics seemed bothered to have to give her good reviews for UV, often feeling the need to sneak in little digs in good reviews. If the lyrics for the rest of the album still regurgitate the bad boy trope, I could see it getting pretty mixed reviews talking about how she needs to explore new themes. I can't say I disagree either. I like the HM lyrics and I think it's one of her better songs about being in love with a bad boy, but it's just so redundant at this point.

Well, hypnotic also makes me think of UV or dream pop songs. I think it'll just be as slow as her usual stuff.

An adaptation of Burnt Norton in HM would be really cool...as long as the lyrics are better than Body Electric's.

I hope the lead single is coming relatively soon (beginning of August, maybe?) and goes up with a pre-order. Probably not smart to wait until two weeks before the album like with the Ultraviolence pre-order.
