it's funny seeing so much universal love for ARTPOP now, like even with the whole Act II petition as well. don't get me wrong, it's definitely well-deserved. but I was a member on gagadaily back when it was released, and everybody hated it. it was not well-received initially

it's so good! I wish she had released a studio version. I have this memory of listening to a really good studio version of the bridge on Soundcloud. It was fanmade from the Conan vocals but it sounded really HQ. I haven't been able to find it since, so I'm not sure if maybe it's the Mandela effect.

The Altar and III releases both coincided with big turning-point moments in my life I really hope we get an announcement soon, I need a new Banks album in my life to heal me

That's correct. But the version where the drums start around 0:15 is closest to how the demo should sound, because that's the result we get from putting all the individual stem tracks together. The version where the drums begin later is more akin to a fanmade stem edit.

Same, I pre-ordered the CD/Zine combo back in April and the only update I've been given is that they're having trouble importing stock (into Australia). And I'm pretty disappointed that the CD doesn't come in a jewel case with the booklet - it's just a cardboard slip by the looks of it. I've asked for a refund but no response so far.

I think as someone else mentioned here "Q.T." might stand for Quentin Tarantino. The "Q.T. Cutie" character is the one in the diner, and the whole aesthetic is very reminiscent of Pulp Fiction

I was thinking this earlier as well. You can loosely divide all the tracks into 3 main groups: Songs about self-love - ADIAML, VFT Songs about society/politics - Man's World, PTP, New America Songs about Jack/break-up - HEP, Pandora's Box, ILYBILMM, Flowers, Goodbye as you can see, that's basically the order of the track list (with the exception of HEP), so it's like she just structured the order around these themes
