Why are you guys concerned with Lana's finances? What's in your checking account right now?
Lana writes literally almost every song she records & tours rather consistently. Born To Die, after 3 years, is still in the top 80 of the albums chart & Ultraviolence went #1. I'm sure she's doing just fine financially.

Does anyone else hear "Dope and diamonds, that's all that I am" in the bridge?
In fact, if the official lyrics weren't transcribed on the last page, I'd be 100% sure that's what she says.

My iTunes playlist goes like this.....i also think this is how the album should have been set out....
I like that! I'm not going to change the tracklist in any way, but if I had to make a tweak, I think it'd be:
01 Cruel World
02 Ultraviolence
03 Shades of Cool
04 Brooklyn Baby
05 Florida Kilos
06 West Coast
07 Pretty When You Cry
08 Sad Girl
09 Money Power Glory
10 Fucked My Way Up To The Top
11 Old Money
12 Black Beauty
13 Flipside
I like Guns And Roses, but I'm not sure where it'd fit on this list. Maybe track 13? Is This Happiness & The Other Woman would be left off, though I don't dislike them, either.

So basically, the FNAC Edition = Deluxe CD packed with a 1 Track CD featuring Flipside.
Here's the 1 track CD that is a part of the FNAC Edition of ULTRAVIOLENCE
SO glad I didn't order the FNAC Edition. I'll just pick up the 15-track version from Target that includes 'Flipside' on Tuesday.

At times the guitar in Money Power Glory reminds me of TLC's Red Light Special and I love it.
The guitar in MPG is what makes the song for me. It enhances the song so much.

Flipside really closes out the deluxe record in a nice way and ties the bonus tracks together a bit more - here 4 more Blake collabs tbh
I agree completely. The Blake tracks - Cruel World, Pretty When You Cry, Flipside - are all my favorites.
If anyone can PM me Flipside I'd appreciate it. It's beautiful & closes the album perfectly!

She's performing West Coast, hopefully... or a new album track.
Shades of Cool or Ultraviolence would NOT be good choices for TV.

I'll listen to it whenever it leaks, but I always listen to an album for the first time in order, without skipping any songs/singles. I like to hear the singles within the context of the album, I feel like I get the complete experience that way.

I was at the same show, but I arrived after the doors opened (I had to work before the concert). As soon as I walked into the theater, the security guy was on stage talking about how concerned he was re: people passing out & not moving in the crowd.
While I would normally do my best to get as close as possible (while respecting the other attendees around me), I glanced around at the audience & decided to just stand back by the sound area instead. The crowd was pretty nauseating -- there were a few teenage girls taking selfies in the middle of Lana's set, a few other teenage girls were basically twerking & dancing on each other when 'Ride' was being performed, etc.I had a nice time because Lana was much better live than I expected her to be, the band was wonderful, & Lana seemed sweet as usual, with plenty of kind words for Seattle. That said, I don't think I'll be going to see her live again if her concert demographic remains the same.
I'm a 23 y/o guy, too, just for context, but I was sad to find out that the horror stories regarding Lana's audiences at her concerts were true. A bunch of really obnoxious, mean, & self-absorbed Tumblr-lite teenagers who seem to suck any meaning or depth out of Lana's music & performance. I secretly hope Lana loses them with 'Ultraviolence'...
