Boz explicitly stated on ATRL that it’s not a surprise album release, so… I mean, the only thing I can think of is something visual, if not a musical performance of some kind.

That would genuinely surprise me, as the originals would physically be quite small images in terms of reproducing them at larger scales for vinyl never mind billboards et cetera. Could be wrong though!

There is no way in Hell Neil is using a Polaroid, he is at the very least using a medium format film camera, which are giant hunks of things. (I speak as a visual artist 🤓) he probably just had her lie on the bed and reach towards the lens

It ranks low for me too. Shades of Cool and West Coast are among her greatest, the direction is cohesive and a necessary deviation from BTD-P, as well as being rich with individual moments within songs that I love, but the songwriting on balance pales in comparison to works before and after.
