I also think she meant “not a good song” in terms of a classic type of song, with a verse-chorus-verse structure. but whatever, I’m my opinion Fingertips is a highlight in her discography.

I never understood the hate for Beautiful. It's so delicate, I love that piano, the melody, the warmth of her voice. It's just.... beautiful.

The way I see it: first part (ends with Grandfather) - family issues / nostalgia second part (begins with Let in the light) - optimistic / friends / (new) love So as a general theme I interpret it as a healing album, coming to terms with her past and accepting the present / future.

How would that make sense on the album? I’m just curious…
