Lana's switch between her falsetto to chest/head is one of the most impressive in the business. Not many girls can do it so swiftly except of the queen of vocals that is Mariah. (forgot about Ariana she too can do it and Leona but she's irrelevant) Don't forget her amazing smoky low notes. Someone mentioned Mildred cover of Summertime Sadness. Lord! She literally has no falsetto and all chest. She didn't even attempt it.. all one range mess. All she did is sing in ONE range and add volume whenever needed to have more power when she should be switching to falsetto esp during the bridge of SS. Atrocious really. -

Oh selena gomez is another shitty singer that Lana can take a shit on. Mildred is horrible point blank. Demi is the only good singer out of the disney flops. plz. -

Female "Live" performers that are actually "good" right now: Lorde (honestly her breath control is pretty shitty and very reliant on back tracks but she's ok) Beyonce Rihanna (when not dancing) Meghan Trainor Fadga -

Yes esp Mildred with her disgusting nasal voice and horrible control. Katy and Tayloose are both at the same level vocally. One note with zero range. -

GURL. Katy, Miley, Tayloose better Lana live Kill yourself please. Ok they may have better stage production plus dancers and back track (back Up singers)..FLASHY...ALL SMOKES AND MIRRORS. Lana destroys every single one of them with her LIVE vocals. -

#2...Mark Involvement already making that a slight possibility. He has a huge hit right now. So whatever comes next radio will be aware of it. We'll just have to wait and see. -

Black Beauty is kinda the best song on UV...Even though Lana was against putting the song on it. (ended up being bonus anyways) I'd love the hear all of the songs before Dan horrendous production. With that said, I love how some of ya'll keep preaching how Mark Ronson produced lots of ROCK ROCK ROCK records. Ya know wat, he also produced a ton of hip hop records: Lil Wayne, Nas, Wale, Q-tip and Lana also said the record will have a sound close to BTD. So there's that. Billboard interview happened after Grazia "Soft Grunge" comment. -

The Beatles appeal to the masses. They were the biggest boyband in the world. Adele also appeal to the masses yet they all have critical appeal. These are perfect example of crafting Quality ACCESSIBLE music. Lana honey...she's loosing touch and we'll all need to accept that. Raising the likes of Justin, Iggy as examples are ludicrous because they are commercial products to begin with. Lana has the ability to make great accessible music while maintaining quality but she chose not too. and That was the problem with UV. -

I'm fine with the lyrical content or whatever. I don't get the Big Eyes shade, it's one of her most triumphant songs lyrically. And a big departure from her albums. I'm more worried about the sound and delivery that what matter most to the Geepee -
She gained weight. We all know this. She's never been a curvaceous girl tho. Her weight gain started after the paradise tour. It's really noticeable now that people started calling her preggers. There I said it for all yall. Regardless, I love the dress and her look. The only thing is that the make up make her look a bit "matured" old. Middle aged woman teas. Regardless, she looked very beautiful last night.

I think she looks great. Much improved over the event she went with Courtney Love which was a mess. I don't think she has a stylist anymore. Her BTD era red carpet was always on point. ( even her general promo appereance and stage outfit was ON POINT) It started to go down hill after UV.

You have the audacity to drag MARIAH CAREY when you stan for trash except for BTD lana. What can i say. People should really look long and hard at themselves before dragging something superior bye. -

Girl, none of the UV songs were originally produced by Dan auerbach..dat why we is all thirsty for the original version. The same is happening here. And the billboard interview happened AFTER she played him those 10 songs. She has four SONGS finished with same sound as BTD..Perfect production. Let me leave. Don't even bring Godriah who sold 200 million records and have over 400 awards..Godriah can shit on stage right now and she's still god coz She's done it all..not with this as a signature huny -

Eh, this will be my last reply. She explicitly said in a RECENT interview RECENT that the album will NOT sound like Ultraviolence at all (which itself is soft grunge rocky whatever). In fact it will be "very different from the last one and similar to the first two, Born to Die" I just realized that the soft grunge thingy was translated from another language. It could have easily been mistranslated. Billboard interview is in engrish. -

She played him TEN songs..what do you think? Em no..She described the album as being acoustic (the verses) and Black Beauty as a single with a video in mind. That was before the demo leaked. Then after she worked with Dan, she described the album as wrong and unlistenable which is true so her descriptions weren't off. When did I say Mark will bring hip hop TO THE ALBUM? But anyways, she said it will have a similar sound to that of BTD/Paradise so. and what I really mean by saying that he has hip hop blood, you can take a listen to "rehab" or "Back To Black" despite them being "jazzy". They have distinct URBAN feel. So it don't matter what he will do: techno, electronic whatever it gon have a bit of black in all dat white. And keep wishing that she'll return to the rock sound. She OVAH dat.
