I think because it's leaked so most people's initial reactions were in pre-release Also not to be negative, but she really does drag out her pre-releases for too long. We all expected it on September 5th, then we expected the covers album at Christmas, and neither of those happened and it's exhausting, somehow. By the time you get the album, you've ruminated over it for so long and it doesn't matter how good it is, it can never live up to almost a year of expectations and predictions. I understand that plans change - especially during rona - but I really hope she doesn't say the next one is coming out until she has a firm date and sticks to it. COCC was an improvement over NFR, snippet-wise, however.

That's not what I took from his post. Scraps would be music leftover from NFR sessions, but these were new ideas. I'm sure she used some lyrics she'd written previously, etc, but she's done that throughout her career. No album or era is completely devoid of influence from another.

I think it's cute but probably the only thing I'd actually buy would be the wolf t-shirt. I'd like to see a closer up pic tho cos it looks like it might have text and I can't see But this is definitely an improvement over her previous merch, imo, and it's fun to look around even if you're not buying. Yeah, looking at everything else you pointed out, I don't think it'd just be a random book. Everything else is very deliberate, which is really fun tbh. I feel like she definitely had a lot of personal input into this, because a lot of the posters, records, etc, are all things she likes or has talked about.

This is better than NFR, don't @ me She's trying stuff here that she did not on NFR. Safe album versus one that is quite experimental and quirky I'll take the latter any day, even if all of the quirks aren't to my taste it's really good that she's not playing safe Fuck safe Dark But Just A Game and TJF are the best imo
