  1. I think it's really called that. To add weight to the theory, Summer of Sam contains it, and we know she often draws from her unreleased material: Baby I'm a cinnamon girl Keeping it fresh on the far east side Baby I'm a tenement girl Keepin' it in touch, your cherry pie B-A-D-D-E-S-T, baddest girl in NYC Baby I'm a dangerous girl You should stay away from me
  2. Yeah, that's how I thought it worked from the link I posted earlier. So does this mean they really are called Cinnamon Girl and California or nah? I'm tired and confused. Maybe this is a joke and I'm a tired, daft bitch but it says "Norman F**king Rockwell" on mine.
  3. Well, I don't know, because if anyone could just submit anything to that app then it'd be a fucking trainwreck. Also: https://support.shazam.com/hc/en-us/articles/115006050447-Music-Submission Presumably they would have some sort of process in place to check, and wouldn't just take anything (like track names off a random YouTube account), but you never know.
  4. Suicide pact, srsly Maybe it's actually "The Greatest" or "Fuck it, I love you!" and she's keeping it under wraps for now but I think it's more likely she took it off.
  5. I mean yeah, but they didn't shazam at all until today ... so you'd think it has something to do with the songs being registered for the album, or something.
  6. It is legit; shazam them yourself and feel the devastation, sis. The only one that doesn't shazam is In Your Car. KMS.
  7. I can't with Cinnamon Girl That's some serious J-Pop shit right there
  8. KMS, and This is what she meant by RHCP influence, because every song of theirs ever contains California references.
  9. We did but I think they added code for one ... I might be totally wrong, though ETA: knowing her, she told them to put the code there for it knowing we'd find it so she could fuck with us some more
  10. I think it'll start @ midnight on the 1st. An absolute guess, though.
  11. They've definitely updated a whole heap of shit since I poked around in the code the other day, and there is definitely a countdown timer with a "Coming Soon" heading, but idk enough about coding to figure out when it starts, etc (if that's even possible from the code that's there). It's the digital marketing company that's doing the site
  12. NFR has come up since she posted it, which is what made some of us think it would be the lead single. I mean she liked a tweet about Cinnamon being on the album, so if it's not then she's the biggest troll ever.
  13. I am the worst. I hope, when she falls over, that her cheek deflates the way our collective mood does when we see that her latest post isn't NFR-related.
  14. Her ears are too low on her head for her to be attractive, though.
  15. I'm so mad I hope she falls off the bike at Soul Cycle onto her face and busts open a filler.
  16. If that were the case we could've done without the pretentious books and Chuck's video, and just had two more NFR posts. She's just fucking with everyone, as usual. Wot?
  17. If that's the case then hopefully she will say something tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest. I did my weekly shazams and ASCAP check earlier; everything is still the same. Not that that is indicative of anything because she knows we look everywhere.
  18. Christ, I'm never mentioning Cherry again ... I created a monster
  19. Exactly, and we're both Australian so we know what we're talking about when it comes to swearing; we are very experienced and basically have PhDs in it by birthright.
  20. Actually, no. I don't like swearing for the fuck of it in any of my music, but thanks for playing. Also, any and all posts on here that begin with "ya'll" deserve wps because it's almost always sanctimonious bullshit.
  21. You may've missed the bit where it's already been established that nobody has a problem with her swearing per se. It's the swearing for the fuck of it that I (and evidently, others) take issue with. As it's been pointed out, she has a tendency to try too hard sometimes, and the premise of my original post was that I hope she's not doing that with NFR, because it's in the album title, the song titles, etc. Obviously, we don't know for sure until we get the album. Cherry comes into it because some of us feel she did this in that song.
