I like the lyrics, I like the topics used (well, really seems like a 'new' version of HDB in some ways) and I like that this one sounds like it could be a "sonical brother" to Born To Die, you know, the way she sings and the instumental also has elements you could compare. I also like that this is kind of a straightforward song unlike West Coast and Shades of Cool. Even tough I like these two, it's nice to see that there are songs on UV besides Black Beauty and the West Coast Radio Mix that do not have big differences between chorus and verse.
However, i also can not say that this one really "hit me and it felt like a kiss" like for example Body Electric did when she performed it for the first time. It's - well, it's a typical lanasong and there is nothing really bad about it, but judging from the live version this may not be my all-time-favourite song from the album.

Yeah, I hope so too. It definetly has some potential.

I said that i assume that the jimmy Lana keeps on singing about is a fictional person which is based on a real person and has aspects of his personality.

She talks about the Auerbach-Story again, you know, the "I met him and we talked about my album .." thing, then she says that she was really amazed by the Coachella festival and she also states that the name "Ultraviolence" is not necessarily a reference to the move "clockwork orange" as it's more like a word she likes "sonically" ( ).
She says the album was recorded in 6 weeks and that she doesn't wanted to have a golden neumann microphone. To sum things up, she does not want to be some kind of unapproachable star, but a "normal" singer, realising her dreams.
She also says that her short movie Tropico wasn't recieved very well, which kind of suprises me, since I read overly good rewievs.

Maybe Lana is trolling us and it's not a single.
maybe "soon" means that it will be released on UV .. which is coming soon

No for real .. I am dying if it's not released tomorrow.

I really thought it would come on monday ... her "soon" really made me insecure :/
However, I really like the first 4s snippet, I'm not sure what I think of the chorus ... seems like there will be a tempo change again (?!?) ...
