Spoilersome people are so RUDE to breaking up slowly. just let her live! she's just a cute lil country tune that never hurt anyone
-
since we're already thinking about the next album, i want her to do JAZZ. i want to hear saxophones baby
-
Spoilerhot take: DBJAG is not going to age well. there's always that one song that everyone hypes up because it has a trap beat (Ex. cherry, cinnamon girl, freak) but in retrospect, they're really not top tier and they become stale after a while.
who agrees?

Spoilerthe way this album is already such a grower... BUS, NAWWAL, WAH all grew on me so hard omg i'm wet

2. Tulsa Jesus Freak (love the snippet, reminds me of Cinnamon Girl)
3. Dark But Just A Game (gut feeling)
4. Yosemite (i want this to be a classic so bad... please be worth the wait)
5. Chemtrails Over The Country Club (a grower IMO, but not the best we have to offer)
6. Dance Till We Die (solid track, don't think it'll be anyone's fav but it isn't bad by any stretch)
7. Wild at Heart (country is not my fav but i'm casually optimistic)
8. NARWHAL (idk sounds mid tier to me - probably some cringe lyrics)
9. Breaking Up Slowly (the snippet is cute... cute next to gorgeous)
10. For Free (i don't like the original oops)
11. LMLYLAW (...)
Spoileri was so spot on, the only rankings i'd shift is moving DBJAG above TJF and DTWD over COCC

SpoilerTop 3 Moments that Made Me Queef:
3) WHITE HOT FOREVER AMENNN
2) when the beat comes in on DBJAG
1) Dance Till We Die bridge!!!!
BONUS: skipping LMLYLAW

SpoilerINITIAL RANKING
1. White Dress - her vocals are so unique here, this is an instant classic.
2. Dark But Just A Game - this almost feels like it doesn't belong on this album. very slick production - luvs it
3. Tulsa Jesus Freak - this song has that immediate hit that i wanted from it - catchy, sexy, mhm! but i think others will edge it out when they grow on me
4. Dance Till We Die - a sweet song that I wasn't fully feeling until THAT BRIDGE whew
5. Yosemite - worth the wait? i'd say so! love love love the guitar it almost has a western movie vibe?
6. Chemtrails - this definitely grew on me since release, but still isn't the strongest to offer.
7. Not All Who Wander - the next two songs are all nice and they will definitely become growers, but they just fine on first listen
8. Wild at Heart - read above^
9. For Free - as far as covers go, this is maybe her best. but it's not a show stopper by any means
10. Breaking Up Slowly - put this on Nikki Lane's album not here...
11. LMLYLAW - not good on release, hasn't really aged any better.
i'd say 8/10 on first listen. it's not an immediate classic like NFR or UV felt, but I wasn't underwhelmed like HM or LFL. I feel very satisfied with it as a cohesive piece of art. I can see how this will be divisive for fans who don't love country/folk but I think it's a solid album.
NFR > UV > BTD > COCC > HM > LFL

12. Yosemite (3:15)
13. For Free (4:08)
Also I want to add that I envision a Freak/Art Deco transition between TJF and WHF, White Dress will have a Cinnamon Girl-style outro, and NAWWAL will have a The Greatest moment with either a lengthy piano or guitar solo

sweetener was a mixed bag, but at least it had high moments. this album seems like 14 different demos of the same song
-
this project has given me hope that she can move past the toddler phase... I want a full R&B album now!
Brain & Heart, Glued, Test Me holy trinity
-
i wonder how LMLYLAW will rank amongst her other lead singles.
WC > VG > MAC > HBTB > Love
I could imagine it being in between VG and MAC because the insider said it is Fine China-esque and I love me some Fine China

-
omg y'all complaining already... who remembers when everyone thought NFR was gonna be purely piano ballads based off a few snippets? and what did we get? a critically acclaimed masterpiece/magnum opus!
-
lanaboards crashed after a snippet imagine the collapse when she drops the pre-order and album cover and lead single omg

it'll be inch resting to have a full album focused on her revenge/defending her image but i'm sure she'll sneak in a few piano-led love songs
