    FINISHED THE ALBUM! whew this is truly Pop3 and im not mad at that!! 

     

    holy trinity:

    - Next Level Charli (she didn't lie when she said this would be OUR ANTHEM, she should open her shows with this)

    - Gone (we been knew, one of the best songs of the year IMO)

    - Thoughts (i didn't think i'd cry listening to Charli XCX in 2019 but here we are gays)

     

    honourable mention: Shake It (Big Freedia and Cupcakke ATE)

    instead of keeping us all in the dark until the next albums/films release, she should pull a beyonce and release a song that doesn't have any strong ties to the album's narrative as a single, like beyonce did with formation. 

     

    imagine getting high school sweethearts as a single, my hype for the album would've been through the roof

    Favourite moment/s in the movie: i loooved all the choreo (ex. The Principal, Show & Tell, OJ, Detention) Mel is such a good dancer 


     


    What you found most surprising: the budget! every set and every costume was exquisite 


     


    Anything you predicted coming true: recess being the worst song oops


     


    Any criticisms: other than the plot bcuz wtf was the plot, some songs had great segues (drama club's transition was great) but others made no sense (high school sweethearts) also my fav song(teachers pet) had a lackluster vid :( i wanted some choreo!

    I only listened to Nurse's Office, Drama Club, and Strawberry Shortcake from the leak.

    Kind of disappointed in the verses in these ones. I love the choruses but they don't fit with the verses, if that makes sense.

    I'm rooting for Melanie so hard hopefully the rest are 10/10s.

     

    these are my least favs so you're in for a treat  :teehee:
