Not me thinking the 11+ replies were people answering the questions as to why we don't listen to singles as they come

Personally I find the first listen/full album listen to be the most satisfying when its as much as a surprise as possible. I like to do this with all albums, but especially with Lana's cause her albums are so important to me. It just makes the album and shock and satisfaction so much better getting to hear everything from the era at once. I like to do this with everything like tv shows and videos, I like binging things all at once. I was waiting on an album recently actually that I was really excited for but I was listening to all the singles as they were coming out, and honestly it did affect the initial first listen of the album because I already knew bits and pieces of the album. It would be a new song, then a song I already heard and I'd be tempted to skip it even though I love it. And overall it was just not as satisfying as it would've been if a lot more of it was a surprise. Especially with an album thats 11 tracks long I want COCC to be as much as a surprise as possible.

I clicked on the video to listen to the audio and is was so LOUD. my ears feel pierced and I think I heard my headphones click from the intensity of the shit beats I actually have a headache like fuck

Thinking about how we probably won't hear that other outtake till it leaks in like 2024 or 2025, we'll be lucky if we even get to know the title within the next year

Listening to COCC and LMLYLAW with well made headphones is just a whole nother experience I didn't even know I could be more hyped for the album but I got COCC slapped in the face

Yeah I was thinking this too, doesn't make sense to release the final single 3 weeks before the album. But its not really out of this world for Lana to be silent about it until the day its out

February 26th is a week before March 5th which was supposed to be the release date for COCC before getting pushed back to the 19th. It makes sense to release the last single a week before the album instead of 3 weeks. Maybe White Dress is coming out on March 12th Would explain Lana's silence but also I wouldn't be surprised if she announces it 3 days before its out or even the day of

I can totally see why people wouldn't want the last notes of the album sung by another artist, since were all here basically for Lana right. But I LOVE weyes so for me.... Also Dance Till We Die being a highlight is interesting I was still trying to remain optimistic about her and this definitely helps a lot. But tbh I never listen to what reviewers favorite songs are, what articles say are the "best" songs. I do want her to be a great track though based off the placement. I thought that Not All Who Wander Are Lost and Dark But Just A Game were at the end and Dance Till We Die was in the middle so its interesting to see their places switched from what you would initially think. Also Yosemite repeatedly being name dropped really proves that shes really gonna surprise us. The fact that Lana held so tightly to it for so long when she usually just forgets about her past work speaks volumes
