    All the songs on COTCC sound very Lana. I can’t see Taylor singing DTWD’s bridge (or the whole song)

     

    or Lorde singing TJF would never happen 

     

    COTCC is very Lana and I do think the reason for the delay was because Jack wasn’t traveling back to LA. He also only worked on 1 of Taylor’s songs on Evermore and was working on his own projects in New York

    What do you think "White hot forever" is supposed to mean in "TJF"? I feel like she is creating imagery with these terms. I image a white blazing desert and this feeling of endless fulfillment paired with despair of not seeing anything through the light. What about you?     I really think she is referencing coke..in between when she says “White Hot Forever” it sounds like she’s sniffing really loud

    the ending is gorgeous, she also says something other than “if you don’t pray you’ll never learn, you know I’m a saint?” but I can’t quite get it

    I completely agree!!! TJF is the fullest song she’s made in YEARS. I can see why COTCC is before it in the tracklist, since it has a wall of sound build up, too!


    i also love her thing together “if you never pray you’ll never know” and “I know you know what I know because you talk to god” in WAH!

    I definitely see her dropping WD video with 0 fanfare, making maybe 1 or 2 Instagram posts about the album, and then ending the era. Which is a shame, these are some of her best songs

     

    My hopes are very low but I’m hoping she covers at least one more magazine. I’d love a live performance like NFR but with Jack being unavailable I don’t see that happening

    If you didn't care for NFR I don't really see you stanning COCC as much as those three, but it is VERY different and her vocals are much more adventurous. Much more cohesive as well. It's the "honeymoon" to Norman if that makes sense. Requires patience.
