How is it humanly possible to be so excited about an album, I’ve never felt this way for a Lana album before Every song sounds intriguing in its own way and unlike LFL the diverse sound doesn’t scare me at all. The title track and A&W are very different and yet they do sound like part of the same project. I genuinely believe that this will be her best work yet (sorry Honeymoon, my luv) and I am getting more convinced that it will top the critics’ ratings.

Which songs of the album have beats? I’m actually quite pleasantly surprised by A&W’s beats all the way throughout. Miles better than LFL.

I don’t want to compare the two parts or separate them as they are one whole piece of art - perfect as it is. There cannot be one without the other. And the transition is impeccable

In the sense that the songs were carefully written , produced and curated to create what we know today as NFR. She was trying to achieve specific melodies and get across certain messages in the lyrics, in other words she had a specific vision, or creating the NFR world. Now it’s more impromptu

Guys I’m actually excited about the Judah interlude after hearing A&W. I don’t think it will be presented as some preachy westboro baptist church religious bullshit. Her lyric about god and what she said about the telomeres and death in the interview with Billie convinces me that she continues to challenge traditional beliefs. Metaphysical Lana is always my favourite Lana
