    it is not that serious. i get being sad as i am a bit too but at the end of the day its just social media. she probably wants a break and maybe she’ll be back. maybe she won’t. all she’s ever cared about is the music. she’s not insensitive to her fans though lol she’s her own person with her own priorities and problems. let’s hold off on being mad at her <3

    truly one of my fav LDR songs… it’s nothing crazy lyrically but it just gets me in my soul every time. the way she paints a picture and sets a scene is incredible. can’t believe UV is almost 9 years old. it was the era i got into her and flipside was on REPEAT the moment i first heard it. so so good.

    you’re so right omg. the joni mitchell vibes are so prominent in the vocals. and her little ad libs and runs are so fun and beautiful. i think it’s a gorgeous song.

    some of you guys are being deliberately dense…

    anyway, if you don’t like the album, good for you? what do you want us who love it to do? not love it? not defend an album we love? it’s okay to love it or like it. but to get on a website dedicated to discussing Lana Del Rey and specifically getting on the NFR thread to say you don’t like it and imply that you think everyone who praises it is wrong or stupid or something… that’s bold. telling people their interpretation of music is wrong or simply just caused by “groupthink,” is even bolder. you can just say what you don’t like about it. you don’t gotta be mean to those who do. hope this helps, and if it doesn’t, oh well! i won’t pretend to be genuine or civil because this conversation is getting so beyond old.

    this album should have been released in the springtime. literally every song on here has such spring vibes (except maybe dealer). it just feels like renewal and fresh air. every time i relisten to this album i feel like it means something new to me. blue banisters title track is just so special and both feels so devastating and heartwarming. i just wish everyone would stop hating so hard on it :trisha: especially on songs like arcadia. the hate for that one is so forced to me.

    The rest of the song is in head voice :rip:. Kintsugi is all head voice.

     

    It’s very evident something is going on with her voice. We’ll find out soon with her doing a tour. I’m curious to how she’s going to sing her older songs.

    nah she sings “im obsessed with this… all his candy necklaces” and towards the end when jon comes in she sings “candy necklaces” in her low register before going back up again.

    we’ve really been fed as stans for the past couple years and a i feel like a lot of y’all don’t even realize it. since norman, we’ve got chemtrails and blue banisters within a year of each other, and then in october we got snow, and then in december we got tunnel title track, february a&w, march the grants as well as the whole 16 track album, and then this month we got say yes to heaven AND she went back into the studio specifically to add more vocals to snow… we’re really winning likeeee
