I love So Sad So Sexy a lot as well! The production really complements her voice in a unique way and it was something quite different for her which I appreciated I Never Learn is hands down my fave album from her Meanwhile I unfortunately found her last album to be an absolute snoozefest

The instrumental, the melody, HER DELIVERY… Deserved a spot on the standard version

Oh yeah it could be him, I have seen that she follows him and she was also at a Melanie’s concert. I don’t like Portals but I have seen he has also worked with Carly Rae Jepsen and Aly & AJ… We might be in for a serve

Yeah at this point I can’t wait to stream the album and find out the tracklist during the first listen

I hope it’s not going to be only the music video version, my guess is it will have that part, but it will also incorporate an ambient section and the more techno/upbeat part with the tempo speeding up gradually till it collapses. So like a nice upgrade and finalization of the first demo.

Yeah to be fair the promotion of her other projects has always relied on music videos and live shows and for obvious reasons we did not have either of them (maybe they have a music video ready to go for release date or for her birthday, who knows), although I have enjoyed the 3D visualizers. Maybe they could have campaigned for more playlisting to gain more traction, but beside that, I don’t know what else they could have done to promote this project without the artist; they even premiered the lead single on BBC Radio 1 and did a cool billboard thingy in Berlin.

Yeah, the version she played at her sets could be labeled as a Sophie edit since we do not even know whether her contributions would have made it to the final song

dancing on my own is not a sophie song; it’s a sega bodega prod that she would play at some of her sets adding a drum beat

So so happy that Exhilarate has those Infatuation - Twilight Zone kind of textures/drums that were in the live version as well 🧡 and the OUTROOOO obsessed
