lana’s lyricism on this album and what we’ve heard so far (leaks or not) is nothing short of incredible. she’s being so open and vulnerable with her audience and i don’t think we’ve seen that from her, at least to this extent. seeing lana so comfortable in her writing style and delivery makes me so happy, she’s in such a good place now in the industry and in the eyes of critics, who have failed her numerous times in the past. lana always seems to come back full force and i didn’t really see that with chemtrails or blue banisters, so this redemption arc was much needed from her this album is definitely her innermost thoughts and i applaud and admire her for being so brave and talking about stuff that not many people like to discuss in music (however she’s been doing this since her first album; this time is different though). confidence is all i wanted to see in lana since seeing her timid 2012 self. she deserves it more than anyone
