2 other thoughts from questions many pages back: i think october would be a logical album release month since it's peak wildfire season and this feels like a great autumn album. some people were wondering if she changed the name on cherry blossom to Phoenix for her niece, but i always took her saying Angelino/Angelina as that she could be singing to any child in LA since the residents are called angelinos/angelinas

regarding "listen to it like you listened to video games" i thought maybe she meaned like on youtube or something? and/or if there's a film or project for the fans, it might debut in the theatre on her website shop? very excited and laughing cause she always mentions the next project the moment her current one drops and this time it's even before lol

it's fun and cute. lyrics are kind of shallow, but i like it. it's very 90s. it immediately reminded me of George Michael's Faith. I don't care for the video but i've been wondering if on the cover she is flashing her pussy or not. you can't really tell if she has a bathing suit. i love the idea of it being a secret flash to us. i thought in the video she might take off her skirt to reveal a thong, but no which is awesome because i'm still wondering now.

what are your opinions on the deeper meaning behind percussion choice on wildflower. i've heard it described as "crunchy" and distorted like Nine inch Nails 90s style. I get that she feels crucified (like by the nine in nails jesus endured) but of course i doubt that is the meaning. i can't figure out what emotion or idea the sound is supposed to evoke. (i love it, it's my fave of the 3 but remains mysterious)

i didn't hear that but i like that best, thinking about the patent leather do over video. some facilities in SoCal let you go down to walk on the beach (unfortunately i know from experience) wonder if she was at Passages. they don't believe the same AA theory that "once an addict always an addict" and that you have to be 100% sober after initial recovery. like some people are ok with 1 drink as long as they don't get drunk. i know she does or did go to AA and for some people it is absolutely necessary that they remain completely abstinent to stay alive and out of addiction patterns, but that mindset is not for everyone trying to heal
