IDGAF. Bejeweled is so infectious. I am starting to really love this album, it’s growing and feels more complete the more I listen to it - rather than the initial collection of random songs that I felt it was at first. Not really a fan of Vigilante Shit but I love the majority of the others and like the rest. Off the midnights topic but on the taylor topic… Style is one of the only songs to give me goosebumps. The descent in the instrumental to that first chorus is actual pop music history

It’s actually insane how she always delivers songs and lyrics that reflect things I’ve just recently gone through. You’re On Your Own, Kid is one of my all time favourite Taylor songs. ’I hosted parties and starved my body like I’d be saved by a perfect kiss’ Literally the story of the first half of 2022 for me. The build up of YOYOK, the line about making friendship bracelets and that you can face this. Makes me feel like I’m on the right track and making the right progress, with all these new friendships and opportunities I’m taking

Surprisingly yes. It’s one of my favourites by her, I don’t understand why everyone dislikes it but praises folklore, seeing as it does everything folklore does better. I understand folklore is more easy listening and less heavy though

She included all the original written songs for Red (30) on the rerelease. I believe for Fearless she just chose a handful from that era, Im sure there’s way for more fearless as she was growing in success and trying new cowriters and spending time in the studio while on tour

Guys. Lavender Haze, Bejeweled and Karma are some of her best pop songs ever. They have me in a chokehold BEST BELIEVE IM STILL BEJEWELED BITCH WHEN I WALK IN THE ROOM I CAN STILL MAKE THE WHOLE PLACE SHIMMA!!!!
-
Why does that Taylana pic actually unironically have this energy
-
Guys my head just fucking imploded everywhere and I peed
-
Karma is so fucking good what the heii. I’m seeing her vision so hard. Like. It just works. I cant believe it. This song is so good

Honestly, I think Taylor’s at the point in her career where she could go back to pure country like Fearless and Taylor Swift (especially after Taylor’s Version drops), then back to pure pop the succeeding album, and then back to that alternative folk sound she had with folklore and evermore and her success wouldn’t really be hindered. She’s opened her fanbase up to so many different genres and styles of writing and music, and the majority of them love her for her personality also, that everything she does from this point onwards will do amazingly in my opinion. At least for the next 5 or so years.

Yeah I fainted. Midnights numbers are insane. She is the music industry

ASK ME WHY SO MANY FADE BUT IM STILL HERE

KARMA IS SO GOOD PLEASE everything about this song should make it awful yet it works i can not believe this rn

it’s funny that people in this thread can’t own up to being a taylor fan and have to disclaim that they only like one or two albums because supporting her would just be too basic

Taylor Swift - Fearless 1. Jump Then Fall 2. Fearless 3. Fifteen 4. Love Story 5. The Other Side Of The Door 6. The Way I Loved You 7. You Belong With Me 8. Tell Me Why 9. The Best Day 10. Breathe (feat. Colbie Callat) 11. Come In With The Rain 12. Forever & Always (Piano Version) 13. White Horse I like the album starting with the phrase ‘Jump Then Fall’, and the last lyric being ‘It’s too late to try and catch me now’. I think the original, standard Fearless is okay but is enhanced by the platinum edition and that’s what really saves it IMO. Obviously, TV is superior but I thought I’d like to try and fix and enhance the original Fearless

Still a bit bummed I had drilled up in my head an album based around Midnights would be full of Style’s, I Wish You Would’s and Wonderland’s Im soooo excited for 1989 Taylor’s Version though! Those vault songs are going to change history I feel it. I’m recreating some 1989 polaroids tomorrow so I’ll post them here when I’ve finished!

Fearless is amazing! Taylor’s Version really shows the maturity hidden in that album. Jump Then Fall, Fearless, The Way I Loved You, The Best Day, Come In With The Rain, The Other Side Of The Door, Forever & Always Piano Version… I love Fearless so much, it makes me so happy nfjdjd evermore also means a lot to me. I find it better content wise to folklore, but folklore is easier to listen to. I find myself going to evermore less frequently but when I do I appreciate the excellence and craft behind almost all the songs! I don’t like Happiness and No Body No Crime tho.

I’m gonna do a deep dive into the lyrics of the album, and play it louder so I can fully immerse myself into it… but right now it’s probably one of my least favourite Taylor albums. It’s just a bit weird for her, it’s not what I was expecting and it’s hard for me to get into at the moment. It’s not necessarily bad, but it’s just a new direction for her that’s quite jarring at first. My current Taylor ranking: 1. Red (not Taylor’s Version… but that’s a discussion for another post ) 2. 1989 3. folklore 4. evermore 5. Fearless 6. Speak Now 7. reputation 8. Lover 9. Taylor Swift 10. Midnights Subject to change of course My favourite tracks on first three listens are: • Lavender Haze • You’re On Your Own, Kid • Bejeweled • The Great War • Would’ve Could’ve Should’ve

this albums kinda a vibe… it’s camp. like it’s just campy i love her !

I obviously feel so deeply sorry for Lana, but I can’t help but wonder why all this is still happening 10 years into her career when the same thing was happening at the start. I know this particular case is bad luck because she never usually leaves her bag in there like she said, but still. Why is it not backed up? I hope they learn a lesson and start protecting her material now because it’s not fair on her! This doesn’t happen to most mainstream artists, so I don’t understand why Lana and specifically her team aren’t working harder to solve it after all these years of literal albums, rollouts and projects being changed, postponed and cancelled due to leaks and thievery

This part is a bit unnecessary

what i’m hoping for… glittering synths mature version of 1989, closer to the down tempo songs on E•MO•TION around 6 songs in the same vain as I Know Places, Cruel Summer and Wonderland
