  1. I never thought it was related to an album. maybe a song.... i thought it stood for "do not care" because those are the vibes i've been getting from her 2020+. (not in a lazy type way, in a way that means i don't care what anyone thinks)
  2. lana commenting "my faves" on a post about billie dating jesse rutherford is so on brand. queen of loving age gaps
  3. i watched Smile in theaters and a gaggle of 12-year-olds screamed and talked throughout the entire film- not a good experience!!!!
  4. My friend did some major sleuthing a couple years back and found she's registered as an independent in NY

    Lana Del Rey Heardle

    Lana Del Rey Heardle #193 🔊🟩⬜️⬜️⬜️⬜️⬜️ https://lana-del-rey-heardle.netlify.app/
  6. yeppp her voice is not becoming weaker.....whatsoever. she said she would force herself to sing very low during the btd days. born to die was definitely an experimental time for her vocally (aesthetically as well), and so she probably feels more confident in her regular pitch, which we've seen more during NFR and onward. wildflower wildfire is proof that she can still reach those lower notes if she wants.
  7. I think she still does occasionally (april 2021)
  8. yessss that’s why I was so excited for a collab. if more people have eyes on Lana’s music that’s a win
  9. this is true. it's actually important to recognize how exciting it is to watch someone grow up my comments about her being an aunt was more a reflection of how time flies, not meant in a shocked or disgusted way
  10. bro i did NOT notice i did that what the-
  11. for me, sweet carolina was my wakeup call that she's, like, GROWN. she wrote that song about her niece. like girl you're an aunt now????? EDIT: in a "omg how time flies!" good way!!! it's been a decade watching her for me and becoming an aunt is a milestone
  12. ya. and i'm not going to sit here and pretend that i don't grieve the BTD and UV lana, tho. i would be lying to msyelf. lmao
  13. AKA is absolutely fascinating to me. highly recommend listening to it on a roadtrip esp through rural areas.
  14. there's a lot to dissect here...i agree that the turbulence of her old life definitely contributed to some of her best music. but i'm not sure if lana is willing to sacrifice her happiness just to find a muse. she's an aunt now, clearly very close with her family, and is obviously much happier with the friend group she's found over these past years...she's not gonna leave LA. at the same time, i 100% agree that the lack of inspiration is worrying. (as an artist tho, we all go thru that) i hope something like NFR makes a comeback---she wrote and recorded the majority if not all of that in LA, right?
