honestly.. i’m gonna need you to just watch the camilla cabello part and experience that

I'll see it in a bit but I don't know the song she's gonna sing and I just don't like pop at all I find it basic as fuck lyrically :crossed: "I LUV IT"?  :tiffany2: lmao

Same setlist, same guests apart from Billie being swapped with Camila. Outfit 1 was the same as last week but black; outfit 2 was country coded. She sang hope on stage and the outro was a hologram. Her vocals were really good and her energy was great

Oh nice :party:I wonder if we'll ever get a performance with FJM though, I think it would be really special. Not sure who Camilla is even after googling her, I never heard fifth harmony idc for pop music so that's probably not gonna do anything for me. Were there any mic issues this time? Did she do the pole dance during Candy Necklace again? What was playing as an outro while the hologram was there?

I think you might be confusing this with coke

Everyone knows Gerald is a cokehead; it's not a secret and several of his ex-girlfriends have talked about it

Coke is commonly used in the music industry (and by a lot of rich people in general - sportspeople, actors, etc) but heroin is a whole other level

It's not impossible that she used heroin but it's very very difficult to function on it. As SN said, it's hard to imagine her being a regular user of it and meeting all of her career commitments at that time

Benzos, codeine or coke - yeah, I'd believe. But I don't know if I believe heroin

Coke is literally on every street in England where there's a pub so tbh this isn't noteworthy at all to me :rip: This is none of our business at all

it’s not just blind items that didn’t come till years later, it’s in her songs. A lot of them. I hate Azalea but she was right about Lana being hooked on opiates. Barrie, G-Eazy, and Chase were all addicted. And yes she would be able to do all those things. Heroin doesn’t knock you out unless you take way too much. For someone with anxiety like Lana it works more as an upper. I don’t think she gets high anymore, and she’s my favorite person on the earth, I’m not saying any of this to insult her, but it’s true.

Tbh this is her own personal business and it doesn't matter. People take drugs all the time who gives a fuck, it's just a way of getting through life. No fan can make a difference to that whether it's true or false. That's absolutely nothing to do with anyone but Lana. Unless you saw her shoot up you don't know what you're talking about.

You have to remember a live show isn't put together for the people who watch every single performance through cell phone footage at home. Most people only see the one show that they attend in person so it's overall not really an issue that the setlist doesn't change for most people.

Also the show was a lot better than you're giving it credit for from just watching a few clips. There were mic issues throughout that you could tell were rightfully bugging her, but she sounded gorgeous and there were a lot of great moments throughout the whole show. She didn't come off as lazy. A little defeated yes, but graceful and ethereal.

I'm aware of that and I don't watch most full length performances. I see one show from a tour and then just watch any songs she added to the setlist after opening night on their own. The point is no matter how you spin it she put barely any effort into the vocals and it was boring for most people. We'll have to agree to disagree

HAD THEM GAGGED, anyways praying for honeymoon

This isn't stan twitter lol, I'm not gagged by a comment. I stand by what I said and so will he, idc about stupid phrases like "had them gagged" lol be a real person

    Wow your grouchy lol

Lmao not at all, it's just it reminds me of Glastonbury where she's setting herself up to not be invited back because of lackluster but accurate reviews and general lack of effort. The bad reviews aren't wrong at all and I think we all know she can do better and should for a show like Coachella :rip:Lana can sing beautifully idk why she signs up for stuff and puts barely any effort into most of the performance

I’m just grateful she showed up on time, praying for honeymoon (song) to be performed this weekend

Showing up is enough for some nice photos but if the performance is lazy then it's hard to watch and she doesn't need to ruin her reputation because she won't be able to do this again and one day she might actually want to put the effort in lmao

  8. Not gonna lie though I hope she doesn't do any more major festivals in future if she's either not gonna put any effort into the vocals, do the same performances of songs like Pretty When You Cry and Cherry or show up late. I still cba watching the performances for the songs she's done a million times, I've heard clips though and every vocal I've heard has been unnotable. The highlight of the show was 10 seconds of pole dancing really. What's the point really?

weekend 2 is actually known for having better performances than weekend 1 because by then, technical issues are fixed, the crowd is smaller so the artist is less nervous, the artist has already performed so they feel more chill, and everything is smoothed out overall. technical issues in weeknd 1 aren’t that abnormal tbh.

The only time I've ever watched Coachella was for Beyonce and they didn't stream the second show she did so I didn't know that but I hope you're right

i must say i find it funny to all of those fans with an inflated ego that think they’re better than “locals” who listen to born to die and lust for life that those are the songs she never sings and the ones she does sing are arcadia and chemtrails that everyone thinks are more underground for some reason

Nobody thinks they're better than anyone, its about what became boring because its redundant after being done 500 times before. Already made the point its great for casual fans, they haven't seen it before. Nobody cares about being "underground" or what ever delusional perspective you're coming from, its just a gig. Not everything is to a different extreme lol its not that serious

literally everyone cares about SS but the complainers of Lanaboards.com

that's her signature song ofc she's going to perform it

Well yeah but of course its boring for everyone but the casual fans. It's boring watching Lady Gaga perform her 2008 songs with the same choreo too, same thing.  You're either nostalgic for it or you didn't listen to it to death to a point you moved on. As a longterm fan it gets easier to watch some artists shows on 1.5x speed or 2.0x to enjoy it all the way through lmao

I don't get people who are complaining about Lana not performing enough upbeat songs? The first half of the setlist was only upbeat songs like West Coast, Doin Time, Cherry... the second half had ballads and slower songs which makes it balanced. Did you guys really expect her to sing Summertime Sadness remix or something? Be ffr :toofunny: Anyways, her performance was immaculate. Hopefully the mic issues will be fixed for weekend 2.

I don't need her to perform Summertime Sadness in any form anymore honestly, does anyone else care for that now? It's 2024 :poordat: I don't know how she can still sing that without just going through the motions. To enjoy an artists music live if you watch every show you'd have to stop listening to the songs so that you could miss them a bit, otherwise it's just unnecessary. That's why it's so much better for casual fans

You all keep saying small venues when her Foro Sol STADIUM performance was great so was that one Canadian festival with over 100K people.

Glastonbury 2023 was also really good.

Glastonbury was great (aside from the lateness causing her to be unable to finish her set lol) but those shows were only exciting because of the possibility of performing Ocean Blvd, Blue Banisters and Chemtrails songs she hadn't before. Nothing has happened since to make this compare, they're probably gonna be cute shows though nothing more, nothing less

  14. I really enjoyed her shows last year but yeah she can't just create a whole new level of energy without new music. It's only exciting when she might do something she hasn't before, and no that doesn't include coming in on a bike, that's just cute stuff. lmao I love her to bits though, I'll probs have a smoke and a drink and enjoy this show a lot in a bit. People can't expect anything drastically different every time though. Setlists are often boring even with people like Lady Gaga because they tour for every single album and the setlist can never actually be surprising
