    Azealia's just nasty to everyone, it reminds me of that cliché (but true) saying "Hurt people hurt people". I remember when Rihanna gained weight and Azealia went on IG live and was hysterically ranting about how she doesn't wanna be fat, she wants to be skinny. She was implying that because Rihanna gained weight she would have to aswell as if its a trend she'd need to follow or something.

    K, just some facts:

     

    1. There's no reverse racism. Black people can't be racist towards white people. Azealia's statements weren't racist, she's just being petty, rude and trying to stay relevant.

     

    2. Lana's "controversial" post wasn't racist nor was she putting down other females; it could've been worded better, there was no need for her to state those names but what it's done it's done. If you still think she was being racist then the problem's on you, not on her.

     

    3. If you say something like "I don't care if Lana gets body shamed" then I'm not even sorry to tell you you're a gross person, blatantly rude or you just plain stupid. Also, I really do hope you, or people you love, never get body shamed because it can destroy a person's self-esteem, even more so during this pandemic.

     

    PS: I know this is a forum and bc of that you can discuss anything you want. But just a reminder that stating your opinion ≠ being blatantly rude

     

    Azealia believes reverse racism is real. She's said multiple times that black people can be racist towards white people lol

    Tbh with Violet coming out in a couple days, I’m not too worried about myself overplaying a snippet or single if she gives us anything. I truly think that this round if she gives us anything in advance, I can refrain because of the poetry album. In a way, it makes the wait easier too.

    I think she knows she teased NFR too much. It's probably why she announced that she'd already starting working on her next album the day it was released and talked about a surprise release.

    the witches of eastwick (bc i'm listening to the new season of you must remember this, which if you're an old hollywood fan you'll love). it was fun (cher, michelle pfeiffer, susan sarandon) but not as good as i'd hoped..also don't care for jack nicholson.

     

    You should start checking IMDB ratings for films before you see them. I avoid anything under a 7. It's usually pretty accurate. The only film I've seen be underrated there is Ex Machina.

    I wonder if it'll be released on streaming tomorrow, or only when the CD is released? I guess we'll know in like 24 hours. I've pre-ordered the album on Google Books so I wonder if it'll also drop at the midnight PST or at midnight Aus. time. 

     

    A MOMENT OF SILENCE 

     

    To acknowledge this project is finally being RELEASED. Here were some of the classic lies from waiting for this:

    • Will release the book before Norman Fucking Rockwell in 2019
    • Going to drop off a little self-bound few copies to some select retailers.
    • It will be released 4 January, 2020
    • It will be released "about a month" after 4 January.
    • It will cost $1 'because my thoughts are priceless'
    • Half of the profits were to go towards Native American Organisations* (I have seen lately that she is just donating her entire advance? So not the actual profits?)

    OK I really do not feel I'm being misogynistic because I would be just as baffled if a man dyed their hair color. What was she thinking????

     

    I understand the $300 Grammy dress from the mall. I mean, I hate the dress, but I can appreciate that she taking a stance against the celebrity culture of over-spending and over-consumption. But is this $39.99 dye job really necessary? Like you have already made your point Lana! You are rich, but you still go to the mall and buy the same things that everyone else buys. You don't literally have to transform yourself into a Karen to prove your point!

     

    That hair is so homophobic, I am so traumatized.

     

    I don't think anyone was offended by that, it was about people making comments about her weight. I'm pretty sure it says more about them as people though, they probably pressure themselves in the same way. To put that on somebody else is disgusting though.

    Dont know if this had been discussed, but this Twitter account is claiming the VBOG track lengths have leaked

    Whoever leaked the title Sportcruiser before the tracklist was released did say it was almost 7 minutes so maybe.

    that track list is probably true bc BOZ said that sports cruiser was lime 7 minutes long

    Didn't see this before I posted the same thing (obviously)

    I hope anyone as shallow as the Twitter trolls is held to an impossibly high standard that they feel they have to keep up for a while. When they start to age or gain some weight they'll probably expect people to be sympathetic. It's just bullying, plain and simple. There are way too many people on that site who have no personality and feel like they have to comment on everything they see, even though it's completely aimless.

    really rude, you realize there are actual human beings with feelings behind every avatar...this could hurt someone; labeling someone who's clearly passionate about an artist as "terrorizing" a forum is uncalled for imo--regardless of wether you agree with them or not on a divisive issue 

    Agreed. Also I keep up with pretty much all active Lana threads but don't really say anything and I've never noticed a particular user "terrorizing" the forum. The one thing that is tedious, as someone who doesn't care about Lana's personal relationships, is the endless discussion about Sean. I couldn't care less about this man.

    It’s exactly that, her most summery album. I don’t listen to all of it, these days, but there are at least 10 songs that are not only excellent but summery. Love and the title track are more “spring” to be, probably because of the time she released them.

     

    The transition between LFL and 13 Beaches was jarring to me at first.
