I'm sure Lana is grateful for that I don't think she would do any promo (outside of IG posts) if it wasn't for Ben and Interscope.

I'm not really worried about the song being short. Maybe it's a TV edit cause they plan on playing the whole thing during the episode and then the single version is longer. Or maybe they just wanted a below 3min track and that's it. I guess Lana had some directions she had to follow to submit the song. I'm sure we'll have plenty of 4+ minute songs on LDR9 anyway

But is there a climax like in PWYC or it's just acoustic throughout the whole thing? Some people described the second part of the song and the bridge as powerful

Also: Lana has vocals on the song

I am hearing more AKA meets UV (from the guitar) and NFR in term of vocals. But it's hard to judge like 15 seconds worth of song tho

According to boz it's something new (at least post NFR I guess). The lack of any of Lana's usual producers in the credits also points at it beeing something new just for the show (unless she did some songs with the Magic guy for some album session that we don't know of ). I think the Paradise thing came from the wiki right? I don't think that's reliable cause anyone can edit that and no insider said anything about Paradise. Of course it can also be a laptop demo from 2008 that she never fully recorded tho

When Euphoria hires Lana and we get a new serve every 2-3 years

I can already see WCE becoming a classic and not leaving Lana's Spotify top 5. The only thing Lana needs for mainstream success is promo (you can tell just by comparing album streams) and there's no better promo than to release a song on one of the hottest series right now. I mean people are already hyped just by the fact that it's Lana in Euphoria

When Ben is playing 4d chess right now and made Lana submit a random outtake knowing it will leak so they can premiere a fully unheard song on the 23rd

If it makes sense sonically I wouldn't mind it making it into the next album. For me Doin Time was a great addition to NFR cause it matches the beachy vibes of FIILY and as it was released between album singles it didn't seem out of place for me. As long as the album comes out this year tho... I don't want another MAC VB situation

The thing is we still don't know for sure if LYTAN =/= RCS = WCE Maybe boz saw RCS in the original LDR8 and thought it was LYTAN renamed (as someone here said) cause we don't know if he listened to it or just had the tracklist. All we know is that WCE is not LYTAN and that it was written after it but it can either be the original RCS title track or a brand new song for Euphoria. The plot thickens

If Lana and that other guy are the only writers/producers credited maybe it was indeed written just for the show... we'll have to wait for the whole thing to see if the lyrics boz teased are there or not tho

One of the insiders (can't remember which one) said they love the second part of the song and the bridge so maybe this will be a PWYC situation where it builds up throughout the song for an amazing climax
