    I hope it's like Euphoria where the songs were released around the episode airing date.

    It would make sense since the first song comes out on the 31st and then there's the  premiere of 3 episodes at once on February 14th (maybe Lana's song is used in one of these).

     

    There's like 7 weeks between the premiere and the album and the same number of tracks left (assuming they release 1 per episode).

    Unless we're really unlucky we're getting the song before the album :hype:

    She may take some imagery/themes from country music (like the lyrics from the snippet) but I don't think we're getting a country album.

    Americana could be almost anything so I definitely expect some guitars but more on the folk-y and blues-y side. 

     

    It's probably going to be similar to Chemtrails, the acoustic UV era songs, IYLDWM, LTLI... plus something completely new cause it's Lana and she always mixes sounds even in her most cohesive records.

    I want the song now but I also wouldn't mind waiting some time for it. The album is probably far from done and if this is the "lead" single we'd have to wait some months for the album to be finished + the vinyl pressing time so it's still far.

     

    There's also the possibility that it's not from the album or that the record is almost done :hide:

    Lana contains multitudes so we'll never know... she's been recording at least since April tho (and probably even before since she finished Ocean Blvd in late 2022 and she could have started even while finishing Ocean so...)

    2024 is going to be great :hype:

    I think it was probably the plan back then but she looks comfortable again with social media so I doubt she's leaving again (I hope :headache:

    If she doesn't release/announce any side project soon I'm sure we're getting some album news late spring :true:

     

    We always get at least a single after a year and a couple of months after the previous album. Only HM to Love was a bit late on the schedule but it's true for all of the other post BTD:P albums  :brows:

    I don't mind one or two outtakes from other albums as long as they are not leaked material (or heavily reworked/just reused melodies and lyrics).

    The already leaked ones can go all together into an Unreleased Collection :brows:

     

    She has to finally use the chorus of On Our Way for something. She really loves it by the amount of songs with it :hide:

    Great songs (obviously) but also a bit of cohesion. There are some albums out there that sound like random playlists where every song is good but lack the feeling of listening to a whole record.

     

    Great visuals are just a plus for me. They can elevate an album but I don't mind less effort in that aspect if the music is good on its own.

    I'll try to say one from each main/iconic Lana producer (some tracks have multiple iconic ones working together tho)

     

    Rick Nowels: Cola and anything from HM (Salvatore and TBD stand out). Also anything he worked on for LFL. Guess who my favorite producer is :hide:

     

    Dan Auerbach: West Coast

    Tim Larcombe: OTTR 

    JackOff: Venice Bitch (A&W guitar intro is close)

    Dan Heath: Body Electric

    David Kahne: Kill Kill

    Zach Dawes: Thunder

    Drew Erickson: IYLDWM, Fingertips (the way he arranged the song from actual voice notes is impressive)

    For example I'd love for her to work with SYML and RIOPY again but on original tracks this time. I wonder if she would credit them as features of just as producers even if they would just play the instruments since they are recording artists with labels and all that.

    Being 100% in delulu mode:

     

    - A&W MV (even if homemade) as Grammy campaign early/mid January 

    - Grammy sweep (all 5, not only the alt categories)

    - Covers album soon after the Grammy's

    - Unreleased Collection in the spring (non promoted)

    - First song from LDR10 in the summer, album in the fall.

    - More MVs this tim.

     

    Alternative timeline if we don't get the unreleased collection or covers album:

    - Lead single from LDR10 in May (matches her timing between album cycles)

    - LDR10 late summer 2024 with max of another 2 pre release songs in the summer.

     

    There are some things I actually expect to happen tho, like her starting the next era in mid 2024 :brows:
