  1. Remember when she said this a month ago? I just don’t believe she would scrap something she’s mentioned more than once and been seen in the studio for. I’m still holding out hope...
  2. NEW ALBUM TODAY LADIES don’t give up - everyone thought the spirit of cocc was dead too but it’s alive + well she recorded this album she teased it and despite a lot of people not being excited the fan base LOVED SUMMERTIME SO WE WIN
  3. I think we’re getting this album. I BELIEVE. She recorded the Joe Biden-hymn-thing from the studio working on it and called the band her “standards crew.” I think it’s done and will [semi-]surprise drop tomorrow or Friday!
  4. The vocals - LUSH The Christmas village, snow globes, and carousel - PEAK 90s MOM
  5. So Bruce will be featured on Jack’s band’s (Bleachers) new single from his third album. He shared a teaser on a hotline yesterday! It’s totally possible Bruce also worked with Lana or they will connect for a future project.
  6. I stan this thread purely for fellow Lana fans’ exquisite taste in music *chef’s kiss*
  7. thank you!!!!! that’s cause he’s NOT at all a Christian artist. literally not even close I’ve been a fan of matt maeson since his EP days. y’all should really listen to “cringe.” his whole catalogue is super dark and mostly about drug use and addiction. “go easy,” “i just don’t care that much,” and “straight razor” are my other faves aside from hallucinogenics.
  8. Been an LB lerker from Reddit but after the video was posted yesterday I had so many thoughts I needed to share! I think the Grey Gardens vibes is an aesthetic preview! I think the video was intended to be a kitschy/satirical play on that documentary (as opposed to some people saying it seemed weird/sad). Grey Gardens is about two lost cousins of Jackie Kennedy living in poverty (literally hidden in a decaying house surrounded by rich folk of the Hamptons)! She even calls Jack “Little Edie,” a person from the documentary, in one of her captions. I think it could possibly be a hint of the COTCC aesthetic, like focusing on the run-down area or decay around a nice country club (i.e. those who are only able to see the chemtrails over it and will never be invited inside). Which is maybe why she’s referencing Midwestern states like Arkansas in her sound and vibe and saying the record feels very Midwestern. It would be a throwback to her trailer park and “Queen of the Gas Station” kitschy glamor vibes !!!!! WE ARE *L I V I N G* ~ Also, singing about the people who will never be in the country club but can see the chemtrails over it kind of parallels what she‘s been saying about dying an underdog (cough cough fruitless Grammy noms), or acting the same way as other artists but not being accepted in the same way, etc (her question for the culture ideas)
