I guess there are also personal reasons. I‘m really not an expert, but what I‘ve read and what the me too movement has shown, is that the music industry can be very toxic- especially towards women. Jack seems to be the type of producer who gives his artists a lot of freedom and is more interested in working together than following his own vision.

Ok, after listening to it again it's definitely more than a cute song. I really like it! It sounds warm and summery and makes me excited that I can finally go to the beach again in a few months. The last part is great and saves the whole song. I understand the MAC comparisons, because Lana and Lorde sing in a similar way in both songs. I don't know how to put it, but both are singing in a calm "talking voice" and it feels as if their voices are really close to the listener's ear. Also Lorde's "Can you reach me? No, you can't" reminds me of "My, my, my, you found this, you need this". But I don't really mind it and I think it has to do with Jack being the producer of both songs.
