You know what??? ”i love you lots like polka dots, you’re killing me more.” ICONIC LYRICISM. How does she make such ridiculous lyrics work????? Is it bc they’re stripped down???? The writing in COTCC is far from her best and yet it might just be?? the songs work so beautifully I cannot WILD AT HEART THOUGH

yeah ofc lana's vocals are amazing, but NFR! got harassed endlessly for its production being predominately piano and i think COTCC really shows Jack's variety. Not to be a Jared, but I really love how they work and COTCC really shows how they can evolve as a pair.

as a hardcore NFR! lover, one thing ONE GOOD THING I want this out of this gorgeous album that is COTCC is that Jack Antonoff's name is not dragged through the mud on Lanaboards anymore. he gave us white dress and dbjag and tjf. HE HAS DONE GOOD. enough slander.

I’m prepping by re-listening to her previous two albums and god LFL remains ever uneven. I don’t actively hate it and it has its bops (Cherry, Get Free, 13 Beaches, etc) but I had to skip Summer Bummer anyways I love how this album ends with the beach sounds and we are dropped in the beach on NFR!. Cant wait for Hope/White Dress feelings
