For all those saying the VB part doesn't have impact because it's been like 5 years since its release here's a quote from the Attitude review:
Album closer ‘Taco Truck x VB’ is similarly nervy, incorporating a gnarlier version of Norman Fucking Rockwell! single ‘Venice Bitch’, with all the self-referential confidence of Madonna sampling ‘Vogue’ on ‘Deeper and Deeper’.
Vogue was released in 1990, and Deeper And Deeper in 1992 so let miss Taco be the baddie she is. Periodt

A gigantic slay

I had a dream I listened to a version of Taco Truck that was 5:47 long and didn't contain the VB part
-
All of the singles were among the best tracks in Fantano's weekly roundups so maybe he'll give Ocean Blvd a positive review.
Come on Anthony be a good boy

I don’t think commercial success is what matters the most to her Like, she’s a millionaire she’ll be fine

I never get that cohesiveness thing. Sometimes it’s better when an album is messy and all over the place than staying cohesive because it can get boring imo
-
Let’s not forget UV and Honeymoon also aren’t as praised as they deserve to be. Ocean Blvd is gonna be a gem for the girls who get it
-
If it gets a lower Metacritic score than COCC I’m gonna lose it I like it but come on it’s nowhere near Ocean Blvd’s greatness

Sometimes they give it to album tracks. It’s actually not that rare so there’s hope

Yeah 4/5 or 80/100 basically means a very good album we just need more reviews with a different scale
-
Venice Bitch got best new music on Pitchfork so they could easily give that to Taco as well post-release
-
-
Among those early reviews the majority is positive so that’s a good sign, but we need more rave reviews with different scoring because so far we’re slightly below 80/100

On a positive note, NME calling it masterful still is a rather really thing, basically saying she’s consistent in being incredible.
Most artists get trashed from playing it safe, but Lana definitely does otherwise, since the composition of the album is rather risky -
LOL the The Guardian reviewer wouldn’t get along with LanaBoards after calling Blue Banisters Lana’s best album
