I think Frank Ocean and The Weeknd are rumored to have albums ready but not sure if they are releasing this year.

Since the vinyl is shipping a week after the release in the US, probably not. It’s going to be hard with just streaming and CDs.

This is called audio clipping, and I noticed it on Spotify as well. Just tried listening on Tidal and don’t have this issue though. Hopefully it gets fixed on Spotify.

I don’t think critics ignored COCC at all. It’s the most reviewed “mainstream” album of the year. It actually received very good reviews too which is surprising considering her reputation at the time.

Kind of weird that they don’t ship until a week after the album’s release date.

The song actually did pretty good on Spotify with the small hours of tracking that it had. I think it also has to do with the type of music she releases though. Kind of how like Lorde had a lot of hype before her comeback but once she released the music, I didn’t hear that many people talk about it. Probably due to the more stripped back nature of the music.

Did we already know that Living Legend is produced by Dan Heath?

I thought it was a joke, but his brother posted about being a co-producer on his story.

I think Chemtrails leaked because someone received a CD early though. Don’t think any of the insiders leaked it. Could be wrong though.

It doesn’t seem like they have heard the album though, as they said they were excited to hear what Lana did with Living Legend.

If they aren’t waiting for physicals, it could literally be coming any week.

Maybe not. Solar Power snippets and even some songs were out over a month before the release but the full album didn’t leak until like the day before the release.
