I don’t think they care or else they would have released the vinyl at the same time. Most of the vinyl is getting released November 12th for some reason so it will count for that week.

This album has no skips for me. Love all the songs. I do hope they fix the sound issues on Spotify though. I don’t like using Apple Music that much.

Just got a shipping notification for my white vinyl from her US store.

Am I the only one that didn’t notice a difference in quality between the YouTube ripped songs and the rest of the album?

Just now catching up on this thread and why do some people care so much about metacritic scores? BTD and Ultraviolence had pretty mediocre metacritic scores but still managed to show up on a lot of end of decade critic lists. How an albums ages is a lot more important than its initial reception sometimes.

This is so funny to me. She really decided to take back the exact same version of the songs that people stole and illegally uploaded.

Outside of here I have always heard most people say it is her best album(fans not just causal listeners). It was even voted the 17th best album of the last 25 years by pitchfork readers recently. I didn’t even know people disliked NFR until I came on here, so it’s really interesting to hear opinions from people who dislike it.

I don’t think she was going number 1 anyway since she only has CDs and streaming.

What did they give Chemtrails? Their review for that album was harsher.

This is what he said: “I just remember that 2 versions were mastered, but idk why cause 3:35 is an earlier demo and 3:54 is the final mix, I don't know which one goes where. But it's probably same situation as FIILY”. “So maybe someone got the vinyl already too and it's a vinyl rip, cause I don't see any reason to put the earlier mix anywhere outside of the vinyl since they probably had to send the album to pressing before they put final touches to the song. Hopefully the streaming version is the longer one, cause no matter what happens that one is the latter version.” The version with strings is the final version. Don’t think he ever confirmed the strings version was going to be in streaming though. I guess we will know once iTunes puts up the song lengths.

Chemtrails is the second most reviewed album released this year on AOTY and like someone else said it’s her second most acclaimed album. Don’t know if BB will be acclaimed or not but don’t think critics are going to ignore it.

Has anyone gone to target to see if they are actually selling BB early? This sounds made up but kind of want to see what the back cover looks like for the alternative CD if it’s true.

Wouldn’t we have pictures of the alternative CD by now if Target really had them out early?

I think I listened to some weird LQ version of the songs because some how Cherry Blossom and LL sounded higher quality than the new songs. Anyway I still loved every song on the album on my first full listen. Can’t wait to listen again in HQ on Friday especially hearing that the streaming versions may be different.

I’m glad I didn’t listen to the leaked dealer version that much, because I don’t even notice a difference. Song still sounds great to me.

Probably a FIILY situation where the physical version is different from streaming.

Yeah same. Maybe someone did upload the existing version of Cherry Blossom and not the album one.

Was the giraffe neck back cover proven to be fake? Just saw a more HQ version and it looks so real.
