Yeah his descriptions haven’t always been the best in the past. I don’t think he gave one for this song though. I believe he just gave out some lyrics. The fiily/dbjag came from honeymounz and some other “insiders” here.

It was just a review of the song. He said he loved the airy vocals and subtle guitar riffs and that he wished the song had been longer.

BOZ posted about the song on his Twitter today. I feel like he would have said something if the version he heard was different from what was released. But who knows.

I don’t know why people are getting so mad that some people are genuinely enjoying this song. I don’t particularly think it’s better than the majority of the songs she has released in the last couple of years, but let people enjoy things.

I saw it as a missed opportunity at first too. But thinking about it more she was probably hired to do a song that would fit the direction of the show. The point of a soundtrack song is to elevate specific scenes not for them to chart or have any other impact outside of that. Can’t wait to see how it is used on the show.

Lana went through the trouble of making last minute changes to the song as revenge for the leaked snippets.

I really hope Drew Erickson is not the main producer for this project. I know Lana is ultimately the one making final decisions, but I feel like she could benefit from working with someone like Dan again.

You might be onto something. He also produced Arcadia and Beautiful, and they also had really bad clipping issues. Honestly not the biggest fan of his work in general so far.

She is so weird sometimes. Why get a reggae/pop producer to help make a song like this?

Billie and Rosalia’s song had very minimal production too, so it’s not too surprising.

Yeah. People need to just ignore insider descriptions of songs. They really set themselves up by expecting an electric guitar bridge or an UV like song.

Someone said they also released Billie’s song a few days before the episode. I feel like we would have a Spotify link by now if it were coming tomorrow though. Maybe we just haven’t found it.
