"well done" is ... a comment, but it's cute. she had a vision - she probably should have paid a bit more for a graphic designer. just because she requested a couple of details to be photoshopped in doesn't make her a genius visual artist. by "doesn't give a fuck", it's more as though over the years she has given less of a fuck about the "lana del rey" brand that her record label forced on her from BTD.

maybe just think of them as individual pieces of work. if someone published a poetry book and they used lowercase in one poem and uppercase in another it wouldn't really matter. it just denotes the mood or style of writing the author is trying to get across. looking at the songs as individual pieces of work - it feel right for hope to have lowercase. ~~ imagine after all this time she doesn't even release a coloured vinyl this era.

historically, in english literature, lowercase is a symbolic of the gays. she did it for the gays.

in fairness all her album booklets have had art, none of them have just been single sided - they always contain lyrics or praise or SOMETHING so there has to be some kind of art the new merch site is basically confirmed - why would they make it such a public thing if they weren't doing SOMETHING. we've had a boxset every era. this one will probably be the same as hm/lfl but whatever. we've had an urban outfitters release every album since ultraviolence. i doubt she's going to cover zero magazines / do zero interviews, she always does at least a couple.

i feel like lfl was a cohesive mess and this album is what she was originally going for. nfr is lfl but correct.

maybe this is a project she worked around the concept of those two songs? she seems to have strong feelings for best american record - it was the original title for lust for life and the white mustang music video was obviously originally intended for BAR too. also, because she seems to love the long so much - i hope she records a new video for it. maybe like white mustang but better. chuck did mention something about a "series", we do already have two music videos out from this area, two more definitely confirmed and potentially a fifth if the snippets she posted for HIAB materialize into something (i don't want to say "hopefully not" but hopefully...not...as we already have two music videos using that footage).

i hope best american record gets the black beauty treatment and not the yayo treatment

so at one point she said the album had thirteen songs we have fourteen, presuming that doin time was added last as it was recorded most recently... that means she's literally just been waiting to do it to us. i kind of wonder how long she considered putting bar on this record for then.

the only thing that puts me off is the font for nfr (not even the ldr) - but the photo is cute af. it really suits the album. saying that i'll probably be using the cover with no logo on my phone.

it's on separate lines the songs are called "fuck it i love you" and "the greatest" muscle beach baby is just a reference to the photos.

in your car is a confirmed nfr song and has been for awhile. the title is not confirmed, just presumed/placeholder until we find out whats real. it's from one of her snippets. this tracklist is definitely fake. no one credible has any insider information about nfr. it's probably because very few personnel have worked on this album. a lot of shit from lfl leaked because there were about twenty trillion people working on this album and lots of things were being passed from party to party - but nfr is mostly a collaboration between lana and jack, so i doubt anyone but them knows what's going on with these tracks (other than maybe some higher ups at universal). this is what happened with honeymoon and this is why we don't have a lot of info or leaks from that era.
