I wish she would have stayed with the one that ultimately made her happy and ultimately made her the way she is today. Even with all this depressed, romantic music I would have been happier never knowing who she was if it ultimately made her happy. It's a shame that we don't know the causes of all her previous relationship endings, but if it felt unfair or unfinished to her then I would have preferred her happiness over anything. She was lovely with Barrie and I think she would be lovely with Franco but again, whatever makes her happy

Lana taught me a lot about pop culture but more importantly she taught me about love and how it's okay to feel the way I feel and that sometimes love can be upsetting and that it's totally normal (to some extents in her songs). She taught me that it's natural to feel like nothing without someone.

It would probably be something in relation to Ultraviolence but not quite Ultraviolence. Kind of how "Paradise" reflects Born To Die. Paradise could be said to be heaven; an aftermath of death. Heck, it's even in the lyrics of Paradise's music - "We made it out to the other side", Paradise being the "other side".

This remix actually annoys me. It's cuts out Lana's voice and chops the lyrics up really badly. And abuses Lana's moaning. 8 minutes? No thanks.

It was a bit hard but I got there eventually. All 115 unreleased songs (not including live performances or demos)! I don't really have any worth posts (you wouldn't believe the quality jump for some of these, some of them are just really bad). But if I make any more decent ones I'll post! I also have one for Put Me In A Movie I made awhile back. I'll post if I find it!

From the looks of this forum this is probably going to be the most unpopular opinion but I have never ever listened to a Lana song I hate OTL I love all of her work, just not equally ._. Another unpopular opinion: Put Me In A Movie is the best song on LDR AKA LG and the demo is the penultimate Lana song.

In my own opinion, it's not softer but it's somewhat similar to her May Jailer days (or the days following it but slightly behind her A.K.A Lizzy Grant days) if May Jailer were a little more heavy. Personally I think Pretty When You Cry would also work (alongside Brooklyn Baby). Guns and Roses is also great but it's kind of just one of those "end of the album" songs that just never really qualify for single status. Similar to Florida Kilos. It's so amazing and catchy but it's just one of those closing songs that wouldn't survive as a single. Fucked my way up to the top probably couldn't be a single because of it's content, unfortunately .-. Too controversial generally. It would probably get even more feminists punching Lana in the face. Also, Shades of Cool is probably my least favourite song on the album. I think West Coast definitely works better than Shades of Cool as a single
