the thing that confuses me is that Sean was married when they met (when Lana was 33), not engaged. He was however engaged to his current wife for some time before early 2022.. this could mean that Sean cheated on two women with Lana, one before and one after their official relationship and the line "did you really think i'd spare her tears just to save your happiness" could refer to hurting Seans current wife by speaking up about it maybe?

The fact that Rob's album has been so visual so far really goes to show that Lana still has it in her, but chooses to dial down on it. Maybe she doesn't want the "aesthetic" that she's become so known for to distract from what she actually has to say. She kinda confirmed that in her deleted tiktok by telling us to listen to the words. A lot of people misunderstand her intentions with her art, her critics tend to not look beneath the surface and if you think about it that's kind of what lead to the backlash about glamorizing abuse and dating older men etc. Kinda sad if that's the case since the visuals used to be such a big part of her worldbuilding

The amount of times Lana has mentioned God, and God being the reason for her talent makes me feel like she definitely is religious. Maybe not in the traditional sense, but an active believer for sure.

I have beef with duets on studio recordings. Unless they're done "right" - which they often aren't - they would be better without the feature imo. It works live when you can see the interaction/chemistry between the artists, but on records it just feels incohesive most of the time. Lana has a loot of exceptions to this tho, ex Beautiful People, Summer Wine, Riverside, all of her work with A$AP, to mention some but songs like Breaking Up Slowly and Tomorrow Never Came would have been way better with only Lana
