  1. Blue Banisters is a perfect opener tbh - it's the end of the relationship and she's letting us know how she's navigating through it - the single could either fit before or after Blue Banisters since she's singing about how her body is a map of LA to deter her from her time in Oklahoma:

She's reclaiming LA as her body and it's perfect

Wildflower Wildfire feels like it plays after a really intense song (I'm looking at you Dealer ;)) but I'm curious about Text Book's placement :excited:

I still can't imagine that an album called blue banisters is going to surpass NORMAN FUCKING ROCKWELL, I honestly keep hoping that Lana will change the album title but keep the cover.

Blue Banisters is an iconic title in itself in fact all her album titles are and this one just fits with the whole album so far

  3. I get that people want new songs for the album but those two specific songs she picked have some significance to the album's themes :oprah3:

Thunder: literally a natural continuation to the stories from the singles - specifically Wildflower Wildfire she wants that man GONE :burn:

Cherry Blossom: would be a perfect closer imo the intimate calm after the storm (get it cuz Thunder :sass:) truly one of her best written :hooker:

I'm not worried about anything else than Lana ruining Thunder like she did to one of her best unreleased songs, The Next Best American Record. TNBAR could've been top 10 in her discography and she changed the whole concept to a fucking party flop song. It was minimised to a filler, I just can't stand the trauma of the same treatment with Thunder

    unpopular opinion:

she improved TNBAR over the angry lyrics on the original as she looks back on the relationship it truly is the Yin to Yosemite's Yang

( take some time and compare the lyrics you'll appreciate the way she conveyed the narcissism on NFR's version c: )
