  1. OMG! This is big. The promotion in the UK has started. Honestly, it may just be the AW and Ocean Boulevard combo and a little interview with her over the phone. I reckon she'll wait to drop the next single on March (f-ing) 24th.
  2. Blue Banisters (both versions), Arcadia and, honestly, White Dress MVs are all best to be forgotten. We need a big production like Ride, Don't Call Me Angel (sorry, the song is shyte but the MV was fav), Shades of Cool or Born to Die, and we need it now.
  3. Her albums are always shyte. Her singles are her career. She's not an album artist (like Lana).
  4. Again, that Interview Mag shoot was tiny. For someone who's been in the industry for 10 years, why would she call it "the biggest she's ever done"? What am I missing?
  5. I hear ya. But I still think that after all the videos she's done, films, shoots and magazine cover shoots in America and internationally- she wouldn't refer to that Interview Magazine shoot as something out of the ordinary.
  6. I agree! Her last bop in traditional terms were Doin' Time and Don't Call Me Angel - three years ago. Maybe it'll be Peppers or Candy Necklace (if it's a bop).
  7. it was a few people, her brother, a car and a cigarette. Is that a bigger shoot for her than Tropico? Or Ride? Or Don't Call Me Angel? I don't think so.
  8. I guarantee you guys that she'll drop an MV but only on the day of the release. Mark my words. It's what that OB Instagram is for. It's what she mentioned in the interview with Billie ("just done the biggest shoot I was ever involved in"). And it's to generate buzz for the sake of album sales. The only question now is - what song will it be for?
  9. I understand why you and some feel like she needs this validation. I'm sure herself would love it too. But for me, she's already called "The Greatest American songwriter" by the likes of Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stone and even Taylor Swift among other peers, which is a lot more impressive than a fucking Grammy. She's proven herself with nearly 10 albums and over 100 songs, 15 of which have over 100,000 million views on YouTube and many have charted on the Billboard 100. What's more, she's among the top 10 most listened to women on Spotify from all the artists in the world. In my view, a Grammy would be like getting a passport after she's already "seen the world".
  10. Um, they gave Billie Eillish 200 award sand zero to Norman. The awards proved that year that it's one big popularity contest. Why would you care? Also, the album seems more low-key than Born to Die or Lust for Life, and I don't imagine it will spawn any Billboard 100 singles. There's no Doin' Time or Love type of songs on it that we know of. It's just not a Grammy-friendly product at all. Unless the put it in Alternative (which they should anyway), in which case she has a good shot at winning.
  11. Oh shit, CN is produced by Zach Davis. Then it's bound to suck. #CrushedDreams. At least I know I should focus my energy on Taco. So, did anything new leak? I was asleep for 8 hours.
  12. THANKS SO MUCH! For me, Rosemead's list prolly makes the most sense since he ranked Granfather and Taco super high along with Boulevard and AW, while he has Sweet and Fingertips low - just like me. But one thing is for sure - Candy Necklace isn't anything spectacular by the looks of it.
  13. She just made the cover of The Rolling Stone magazine too. On a train so I cant link but there are pics on another thread. Def more promotion than Blue Banisters and Chemtrails! I think Interscope really want and another no. 1 and weren't happy with BB's 6th or whatever position.
